Story
I got Kwami when I was back home in Atlanta. There was someone selling kittens and I was just playing with them. This lady came up and said she could tell I loved the kittens and would make a great cat mom. I told her I've always loved cats but couldn't have any pets growing up. She decided to buy him for me. I had like $15 in my bank account and I spent every single cent getting him supplies. He's been with me through a lot and I absolutely love him. I need him to go somewhere where he can get everything he needs.

Story
Meet Chaol! Chaol is an approximately 5-year-old Domestic Medium Hair cat weighing around 9 pounds who is looking for a loving forever home. He came to Rockwall Adoption Center after being found injured and has been receiving the care he needs to get back on his paws. When Chaol arrived, he had a significant wound on his right elbow and another injury to his right rear foot. Both wounds have been cleaned and treated, and he is currently taking antibiotics to help support the healing process. Despite everything he has been through, Chaol remains a friendly, resilient boy who is ready to leave his rough days behind and start a new chapter. Chaol would do best in a calm, adult-only home where he can relax and enjoy the quiet life. He prefers to be the only pet and would love a family that appreciates a laid-back companion. His favorite activities include soaking up the sunshine during afternoon naps and spending time with his people. His adoption fee is $50. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and FVRCP vaccine, and he is also FIV/FELV testing (negative). If you are interested in making Chaol part of your family, please submit an adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. Chaol is ready to trade recovery time for forever time with a family of his own.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. July 1, 2026, 1:57 pm

Story
Meet Pepper! Pepper is an adorable 8-week-old male Domestic Medium Hair kitten weighing approximately 2 pounds who is currently living in a foster home while he waits for his forever family. Pepper is everything you could want in a kitten. Sweet, playful, and full of affection. He loves to explore, chase toys, and wrestle with other kittens before curling up for a cozy cuddle. He has been around both cats and children and has done well with them, making him a wonderful addition to many different types of households. As with any young kitten, Pepper is still learning about the world and will need a family committed to providing him with love, patience, and continued socialization as he grows. Pepper's adoption fee is $75, which includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, 1st FVRCP vaccination, and 1st dewormer. His mandatory neuter appointment is scheduled for Wednesday, 07/29/26, and this appointment date is non-negotiable. Because Pepper is currently in a foster home, an approved adoption application is required before a meet and greet can be scheduled.
