Story
Dakota is a wonderful, 9 year-old Turkish Angora cat that has been with our family for some time. He has played well with our other cat for several years, along with our American-Pitbull dog. We have never had any aggression issues with other pets/animals and have even had three children during this time. Dakota does well around children but will prefer older company other than young children. Dakota does well in a quiet and calm environment where he can sit in your lap for what will seem like hours. Dakota is fully litter trained and house trained. He enjoys basking in the sun on the porch but not much one for exploring far and away and we have had no issues with him running away.

Story
This is Toast. Toast is 6 years old and is an extremely affectionate, playful, and elegant cat that will probably steal your heart like she did mine. I'm at a part of my life where I'm moving away, and Toast unfortunately cannot continue alongside me. I hate it so much that I have to make this decision, but it's the only one I have left to make before surrendering her to a shelter where her future is ultimately unknown. I've spoiled this cat, and I want to make sure she is going to a home where she will be loved and cared for just as much as I've given to her over these past few years. She is a really shy cat at first, but once she's gotten comfortable around you and understands that you are a new friend, she will start to become close very quickly. She loves to lay down and sleep on my chest and play with feather toys. She's litterbox trained, knows her manners, and understands when she does something you don't like. All she needs is a new family and some time to adapt.

Story
8 cats need a home in Fort Worth, Texas. 3 female spayed, 5 males neutered. All are 7 years old. 1 special needs cat. His name is Tom. He is between 5-6 years old. He has FIV. He has been in a cage so he would not infect the other cats. Only cats can catch this from an infected cat. My sister rescued all of these cats. She was diagnosed with lung cancer around 5 months ago. She just got out of JPS hospital. Fluid was building in her lungs so breathe. The doctors put tube below her lung to drain the fluid. It has to be kept very sterile. She has moved in with her son to get hospice. She can not even say bye to her babies. It makes me very sad. Currently, they are still in the motel room she lived in with all of them. A friend of hers is feeding them but I don’t know about the litter boxes. I don’t know how long she can continue to pay for the motel room. I live in California and am disabled in social security. It breaks my heart I can’t help her out. I do not have pics
