Story
Piko is an incredibly playful and energetic cat who loves to jump, play fetch, and chase toys like a little hunter. He’s super social and will happily follow you from room to room just to hang out. He’s a curious and fun companion who thrives on interaction. Sadly, due to time constraints, I can’t give him the attention he deserves. So Piko is looking for a new home where he can play, explore, and be part of the family. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations.

Story
Sunisa ‘Suni’ l’Extraordinaire, named during the excitement of the 2024 Paris Olympics carries the torch for her namesake, USA gymnastics Olympic champion, Sunisa Lee. Lee is an Auburn Tiger and so is Ms. Suni (sue-knee) l’Extraordinaire with her with copper and blond auburn tiger stripes and sweet le tigre face. She is athletic and graceful and her leaps to the cat tree beam are a thing of beauty. Her feather boa tail may make her seem the diva, with that haughty flip of that floof flag and her wide-eyed gaze but she is a tough competitor. She carries her favorite prey, an eviscerated and bedraggled, dunked-in-the-drink mouse with a deep growl to ward off the siblings and flips it into the air as she plays with elaborate choreography. Try to take her photo and she comes in for a super close up. She looks deeply into your eyes telling you that she wants to be picked up, held, cuddled and kissed. She won’t stay too long, there are adventures to have and sunbeams to stretch out in and Squirrel TV to watch. This little girl loves her mama and would love to be adopted with her. Born: 5/2/2024 Background and Description: Suni’s mom, Lee “Mama Lee-Lee,” a small, smart, long-haired tuxedo kitty found refuge for Sunisa and her two siblings in the parking garage at the UNT Health Science Center. The kittens were taught that safety from predators, cars, (and humans who came too close) was a quick scurry into the undercarriage of the electric carts plugged in on the first floor. The kittens were taught that safety from predators, car, (and humans who came too close) was a quick scurry into the undercarriage of the electric carts plugged in on the first floor. A cat mom who had adopted her first fur baby from Meowtown was leaving the gym at the Texas Health Science Center one evening. She had recently graduated and was soon to leave to begin her residency in another state. Walking to her car, she spotted the little family in the parking garage. That feline family won the lottery that night as that med student and her med student friends made it their mission to get them safe and cared for. Story
Mikey is a chunky cuddle bug who loves to play and hunt. He has handsome tabby markings and his coat is somewhat fluffy. His favorite activity is hunting toy mice and balls. He has an adorable trait where when he catches his “prey” he grumbles and growls with the toy in his mouth so as to protect his catch from any competition (not that he ever has any). We recently found out that Mikey will play fetch with us! We can toss one of his favorite toys and he will run after it, growl as he catches the toy, and then comes back to us and drops the toy so we can toss it again. As he has gotten more comfortable with his foster family he has spent more time relaxing near us and recently has even spent a couple of nights cuddling beside us while we sleep. Even though he is affectionate he is not clingy and tends to spend most of his time exploring independently, although he does wrestle around with his siblings quite often. He is socially aware and gives space to the older cats in our household who don’t want to be bothered. There’s not a mean bone in his fluffy body! He has never scratched or bitten, nor gotten into tiffs with another cat. While he doesn’t have experience with kids or dogs yet, we believe he would do very well with them. Mikey’s lookalike sister Monica is comparatively shy about new situations so it would be nice if she could have him adopted along with her to make her transition more comfortable. He will do best in a home with another animal to play with and love on, and will make a great big brother. Born 11/30/2024 Mikey and his two siblings - Moxy and Monica - were found living together in a park. They were likely dumped there as their mother wasn’t around and they weren’t feral or afraid of humans. He came to live with his foster family in early March 2025. His foster family can’t take care of him long term due to our already having plenty of cats in the household. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
Moxy is an outgoing, adventurous little girl. She is petite with a sleek, solid grey coat that becomes silvery in certain spots, such as near her paws. She was the smallest of her litter and remains small in size for her age. However, she makes up for her size with a gregarious nature and vivacious attitude. She takes to new environments and situations with ease. In fact, she and her siblings were discovered abandoned in a park solely because Moxy went up to stranger humans and basically asked for their help! She’s a smart cookie too. She loves playing with an electronic toy and it didn’t take long for her to learn how to press the button and turn it on herself. Moxy loves all sorts of different play activities but especially loves taking cat naps and lounging on the cat tree where she can also look out the window at birds and squirrels. She has really enjoyed her time outside on a leash, exploring the garden and munching on grass. In addition to being playful, she’s an affectionate little lovebug. She purrs loudly when getting pets and gives sweet kisses to show her gratitude. Moxy’s sister Monica is comparatively shy about new situations so it would be nice if they could be adopted together to make their transition more comfortable. Regardless, Moxy will do best in a home with another animal to play with and love on. Born 11/30/2024 Moxy and her two siblings - Mikey Day and Monica - were found living together in a park. They were likely dumped there as their mother wasn’t around and they weren’t feral or afraid of humans. Moxy and her siblings were initially discovered when she began following people walking through the park. She ended up befriending and taking those humans to her siblings, letting them know they needed a home! She came to live with her foster family in early March 2025. Her foster family can’t take care of him long term due to our already having plenty of cats in the household. Story
Buffy is an active fun-loving kitten. She and her brother Fluffy are curious and love to run and tumble. they play with small toys a bit, but have more fun just playing with each other. In true kitten fashion, they play until tire. Then they become sleepy cuddlers. Both are very quiet, never seem to need to meow. Born 3/29/2025 Buffy and her brother Fluffy were found inside a truck. A caring neighbor took them in and contacted Meowtown. With none of the usual kitten fosters were available, they ended up in a high volume foster home in the middle of a lot of cats. They live in a playpen and come out to play each evening. They turn the top of the playpen into a trampoline. One cat Clyde is fascinated by them and likes to watch them play. They are pretty docile around strangers but are afraid of dogs and small kids. If you are interested in meeting these Kitties please email MeowtownAR@gmail.com. They have only known each other and appear to be pretty bonded, so ideally would be adopted together.

Story
**Meet Asher – A Gentle Soul Ready for Love** Asher has had a rough start in life, but this stunning boy is ready for a fresh start with someone who will show him the kindness he’s always deserved. Dumped at the shelter after being mistreated, Asher was heartbroken and unsure of the world around him. His shy and nervous nature is simply the result of a past where love was hard to come by—but deep down, he’s a sweetheart who longs for a safe and loving home. With his soft, medium-long fur and a luxuriously fluffy tail, Asher is truly breathtaking. He’s fully vetted, neutered, and has impeccable litter box manners. He does wonderfully with other cats and should do well with gentle dogs. Because of his shy nature, he’d thrive best in a home with older children who understand the need for patience and kindness. Asher wants to be someone’s shadow and best friend—he just needs a little time to trust that love is real. If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Asher will reward you with loyalty, companionship, and the joy of watching a once-forgotten soul blossom. **Could you be the one to show Asher what true love feels like?**
