DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES  DOB 8/7/22 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings. I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat. Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around. STREET URCHIN TO PAMPERED PET  DOB 4/28/23 Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince! My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park. And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic. I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara. COMES UP TO GREET YOU AND INVITE YO TO PICK HIM UP  DOB 7/1/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Domino, a super sweet, friendly, and affectionate Turkish Van mix fella who loves to come up and greet my hoomans. Like most Turkish Vans, I’m mostly white with black mainly on my head and tail. The Turks would call the large black spot on my right shoulder the fingerprint of Allay. What can I say but that I’m blessed? I’m one of the few kitties who actually adores being held, so when I approach my favorite hoomans, I’m inviting them to pick me up and shower me with attention. On New Year’s Day, when I was about six months old, Foster Meowmy found my buddy Daisy and me abandoned in a cat bed on the curb in her neighborhood. Boy howdy! We were relieved that Foster Meowmy brought us to the safe haven of her home. Sharing rejection by our first owner has made Daisy and me very close, yet on the other hand, I’m not holding my first caretaker’s heartlessness against all hoomans. My unabashed friendliness and liking to be picked up easily demonstrate my resilience. Now I’m ready to bless my forever family with my outgoing, loving, and buoyant spirit. SHY, QUIET COMPANION WITH SWEET, GENTLE PERSONALITY  DOB 5/15/25 Here there, everyone! I’m Avery, a sweet, gentle Turkish Van mix fella, which means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, chin, and tail. I have a black spot on my right thigh which the Turks would say is the thumbprint of Allah. When I first met Foster Meowmy, I was a shy, quiet companion who enjoyed aloofly observing activity around me from a safe, cozy spot. Thank heavens she didn’t rush me, and with time and her patience, my delightful personality now shines through. I have to admit that Temptation treats greatly expedited my learning to trust her. Now that I feel secure, I reward her with my tranquil trust and affection. My brothers, Thumper and Max, and I are known as the #dicey-dice-dudes because we look like white dice with black spots, and we were born to a stray momma cat in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. After we were weaned, Foster Meowmy had Momma spayed and scooped up us kittens so we’d have a chance at a better life indoors. We are so grateful to be in the safe haven of our foster home where Foster Meowmy rewards us with yummy Temptations treats and teases us with the feather wand toy. We have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I’m ready to bring my high energy and even temper to my forever home. HAS THE FINGERPRINTS OF ALLAH ON HIS BACK  DOB 6/2/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mako, a sweet, playful Turkish Van fella, which means that I’m mostly white with orange tabby on my head and tail with a few patches of orange on my torso. The Turks would say that these spots are the fingerprints of Allah. I guess you could say that I’m blessed because when my brother Bolin and I were about two months old, a Good Samaritan found us in the middle of some bushes on the edge of the bayou. Yikes! That’s dangerous! Our momma was nowhere in sight, but thank heavens (or should I say Allah?) that we were brought to the safe haven of our foster home. Our foster family nurtures and socializes us, but there are plenty of resident dogs of all sizes as well as cats who manage to teach us a lot of manners that Momma would’ve taught us if she’d been around. Because we survived our abandonment together, Bolin and I are very, very bonded. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I guess you’d say that we’re inseparable, and whenever we are apart, we seek each other out. Now I’m ready to bring my adorable good looks and kitten optimism to my forever family. Could that be you?
