DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES  DOB 8/7/22 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings. I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat. Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around. STREET URCHIN TO PAMPERED PET  DOB 4/28/23 Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince! My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park. And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic. I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara. I’m Domino, a super sweet, friendly, and affectionate Turkish Van mix fella who loves to come up and greet my hoomans. Like most Turkish Vans, I’m mostly white with black mainly on my head and tail. The Turks would call the large black spot on my right shoulder the fingerprint of Allay. What can I say but that I’m blessed? I’m one of the few kitties who actually adores being held, so when I approach my favorite hoomans, I’m inviting them to pick me up and shower me with attention. On New Year’s Day, when I was about six months old, Foster Meowmy found my buddy Daisy and me abandoned in a cat bed on the curb in her neighborhood. Boy howdy! WINSOME AND RELAXED  DOB 3/14/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Cardi B, and my middle-school foster sister named me because I’m just as much an award-winner as the famous American rapper. As I heard my Foster Meowmy describe me, “Cardi B is soooo sweet and special.” I’m one beautiful, affectionate calico, if I do say so myself, who purrs constantly and loves to be held. I’m so easygoing and fearless that I climbed right into my foster sister’s lap the first time I met her. I’m young and frisky, so I love chasing the string wand toy around the room when someone wiggles it like a snake. A kind HOPE volunteer trapped me among a colony of community cats in a trailer park. After I was spayed and ear-tipped, this kind woman realized that I was too sweet and friendly to be released outside again. Maybe I was someone’s misplaced or abandoned pet, but I’ll never tell! Anyway, thank heavens my Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and brought me to the safe haven of her home. When I came into my foster home, I immediately sniffed noses with the most unfriendly of their cats. Nobody hissed, and immediately everyone – both hooman and feline – fell in love with me as they joyfully breathed a sigh of relief! I was even fearlessly curious about the big dog, and since then we've begun to play together. Understandably my foster family has gotten very attached to me because “Basically, Cardi B’s the best.” Although I love it here in my foster home, I realize that I’ll get more attention if I bring my winsome personality and relaxed friendliness to a forever family who has fewer cats to rob me of the attention that I want and deserve. I’m Rumi, an incredibly sweet, easygoing, and beautiful “tabico,” a.k.a. tabby-calico, gal with stunning colors that glow as if I were golden. Actually, I’m like any calico because I have large areas of white -- except I have brown tabby instead of the usual black. Peach patches are sprinkled over my tabby areas as if I’d gotten splattered with caramel in a candy factory. My favorite thing in the world is simple – to be next to you.
