Turkish Van kittens & cats in Houston, Texas

LOVES WAND TOYS AND CHURUS  DOB 9/15/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Fei Fei, and I was named after the bright, adventurous girl who builds a homemade rocket ship to travel to the moon in the animated fantasy film “Over the Moon.” Fei Fei is a common Chinese name that translates “very fragrant, luxurious, and beautiful.” I don’t know about “fragrant,” but I do have luxuriously soft white fur like a bunny’s, and I’m obviously beautiful! I’m a sweet, gentle, and poised calico/ Turkish Van mix, which means that I’m mostly white with gray and orange tabby patches on my head and tail. I’m really quite a lovely package, if I do say so myself. I guess you’re wondering why a perfectly exquisite kitten like me needs to find a home. I did have a loving home that, for the few months of my short life, I shared with my hooman mom and another kitty. Unfortunately, my world was turned upside down when Mom was transferred to a new job in another city, and she could not take me with her. Thank heavens my HOPE foster meowmy stepped up to the plate and agreed to find me a loving new family. I like Foster Meowmy a lot because she tantalizes me by waving wand toys over my head and then feeding me Churus as a treat afterwards. I’m still adjusting to my new American foster home because Mandarin is no longer spoken, but my ears are getting more attuned to English every day. I’m certainly ready to bring my gentle disposition, graceful daintiness, and soft bunny fur to bless my new forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! HOPE ID 26-0627-C055         Fei Fei’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Fei Fei will be this weekend, email us at nancy.e.kline@hotmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Bella is a 9 years old looking for her forever home. Bella is a fabulous feline with an exceptional case of “cattitude.”Bella is an independent feline who loves lounging on the couch, running around the house and judging humans from a respectful distance. She’s not a lap cat and prefers affection on her own terms—but once she trusts you, she’s a loyal little roommate with plenty of personality. Bella is extremely good at catching flies or any bug even you don’t see. She is startled easily and likes to hide but she’s also curious about her home and likes to roam around freely. She would be best suited in a home without children or dogs. She is spayed, microchipped, and litter box trained.

HER SOULFUL EYES DELIVER YOU FROM DAILY CHAOS  DOB 2/14/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Rumi, an incredibly sweet, easygoing, and beautiful “tabico,” a.k.a. tabby-calico, gal with stunning colors that glow as if I were golden. Actually, I’m like any calico because I have large areas of white -- except I have brown tabby instead of the usual black. Peach patches are sprinkled over my tabby areas as if I’d gotten splattered with caramel in a candy factory. My favorite thing in the world is simple – to be next to you. It could be the complete peace I feel while I make biscuits when watching TV with you. Or it could be when I curl up beside you to settle in for a cozy head massage or belly rub! I’m the kind of kitty who seems to understand when you need company. Whether you’ve had a long day or just want to relax with a soft, furry, comforting presence nearby, I’m happiest lying next to you, soaking up your love, and giving it right back to you. You'll feel me affectionately weaving through your legs while you do chores, but I’m actually leaving my pheromones to mark you as mine. Although we will share an occasional wand-toy adventure together when the mood strikes, I’m basically a low-maintenance girl who knows not to demand your time and attention when you’re busy. I can entertain myself with window-patrol duty or cozy naps in soft beds. Plus I get along great with all ages of hoomans, including kids --as long as they are gentle and well-behaved -- as well as dogs; as far as other cats go, I prefer to be on my own. My foster meowmy first saw me roaming in her neighborhood as a friendly stray. For a long time she fed me as she drove by but finally succumbed to my winsome personality by bringing me inside. Now I’m ready to be the beautiful soul who brings my comforting energy, affectionate cuddles, and peaceful presence to bless my forever family. Could that be you? Give me a chance, and I’ll help deliver you from the turmoil of the day. HOPE ID 26-0128-G017 Rumi’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. LOVES TO GIVE NOSE KISSES AND HEAD NUDGES  DOB 6/10/25 Hey there, everyone! I am Nelly, a friendly, affectionate, and outgoing calico gal with gorgeous swirls of bronze and black on my sides, striking green eyes, and a perfect rose-pink nose. What a beautiful package, if I do say so myself! But I am not just eye candy! So siree! I lovingly bestow nose kisses and head nudges as I snuggle in Foster Meowmy’s lap. In return, she scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin, and I exultantly luxuriate in her attention. I was a six-month-old teenager when I birthed my litter of four kittens in the apartment complex where Foster Meowmy lives. That is what happens when owners do not get their young pets spayed and then dump them outside when they move out of their apartment. Actually, I actively sought Foster Meowmy’s help when I sensed that she loved cats, and it was a literal miracle that she scooped us all up and brought us to the safe haven of her home. Since I am barely more than a kitten myself, I am saturated with kitten playfulness. You should see me bat jingle-bell balls around the room like a professional soccer striker! Now that I have permanently retired from doting motherhood, I am ready to put my beautiful, dainty face to work giving nose kisses and head nudges to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! HOPE ID 26-0509-G059 Nelly’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. WHAT AN ETHUSIASTIC PLAYGIRL AND CUDDLY LAP CAT  DOB 5/1/24            Hey there, everyone! I’m Bonnie, a stunningly beautiful, affectionate, and playful seal-point Snowshoe/ Siamese mix gal who loves it when my hooman Daddy massages my head and rubs my belly when I snuggle in his lap. We have so much fun together when he teases me with feathered wand toys and bouncing balls on a string. True confessions: I can get a little spicy when he overstimulates me during these interactive playtimes! He always caps off our gametime with yummy Churu treats, and then I’m perfectly happy to stretch out and bask in a sunbeam for an afternoon nap. Unfortunately, I need a new home because the other cats in my home are mean and grumpy with me. I’m relegated to living in Daddy’s office, but I heard my hooman Meowmy tell someone, “Bonnie is a wonderful cat who deserves better than to live in just one room.” I’m ready to be the enthusiastic playmate and cuddly lap cat for my forever family. Could that be you? My ideal home should be quiet because I get spooked at loud noises, and my ideal adopter should be experienced with handling cats who can be somewhat feisty when overaroused. Give me a few weeks to settle in after my arrival, and you’ll have a real Playgirl on your hands! Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 24-0824-C101 Bonnie’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
