Story
SPUNKY CUDDLEBUG  DOB 8/24/19 Hi everyone! I’m Woobee, a spunky, funny, entertaining Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with black on my head and tail. Don’t you love my white blaze running up my nose? Because I’m such a snuggler, I was named after the child’s security blanket popularized in the movie “Mr. Mom.”  I’m a lap cat extraordinaire. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I'm full of zany antics and have a plucky attitude. I’ll bunny-kick a stuffed animal and then come sit in your lap to get praise and to snuggle. I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids. My siblings Mothra and Godzilla were found with me as orphan kittens during Tropical Storm Imelda. Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my siblings so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. If you’re looking for a real lap cat who’s the life of the party and who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. HOPE ID 20-0216-C013 If you are interested in Woobee and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES  DOB 8/7/22 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings. I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat. Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around. I hope that I’ve piqued your interest and that you’ll arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with my sister Tris. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 22-1022-E022 If you are interested in Alice and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
If you would like more information about Chance or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to ynocetti@gmail.com or contact this number, (718) 619-5775 Chance started to come to my house with cuts, dirty and hungry. He had mange and a bad bite, puncture or cut on his throat. I was very concerned and alarmed about his injury and started to try and get close to provide a topical antibiotic and pain medicine I had from other cats. I started to feed him and of course, explained to neighbors that I was feeding him but planning to catch, neuter and release him and to please don’t harm him. I noticed him getting in better health and that sometimes he just came around to be petted more than to be fed. Really! He was asking for a bit of compassion and nurturing. I asked for help and borrowed a trap and finally caught him. I had him neutered, vaccinated for rabies and feline leukemia, and treated for fleas. Chance needs a home where he can be free of stress and give and receive love. He has had a hard time in his life, where he has been attacked, weathered all types of heat and cold and I know he’s very scared of thunderstorms. He doesn’t get along very well with other animals because he has had to defend himself all this life and has been left with emotional and physical scars! (the physical scars I was able to cure, and he looks super cute now). He uses the litter extremely well and likes dry cat food and a little wet food sometimes. He likes to drink a lot of water and loves treats. I pray that he can get the forever home he deserves and can make someone as happy as he makes me. He likes adults and can be very sweet. After he gets to know you, he likes to be combed and caressed. He does not do well with children that can fuss with him, but he will not harm them if they do not bother him. His ideal environment and adoption scenario is a family or person with no other pets. He likes to watch TV with me and be cozy in an ottoman next to me. He follows me everywhere and likes to be next to people. He doesn’t like to be alone all the time but can be alone until someone gets home. Story
Hello! My name is Momo! I am a 2 1/2 year old handsome boy (neutered, of course!), who is ready to go to my furever home! I am pretty easy-going; my favorite activities are looking out the windows, exploring for new places to nap, playing with strings/toys, and taking compliments. Seriously, I LOVE it when my people talk to me and tell me how pretty I am! (Just look at me! I look FABULOUS!) I'm VERY people-centric, and love to be right in the thick of the action; if not snuggled right up against you, I at least want to be in the same room as you, watching what you are doing or sleeping near your head/feet. I get along great with other friendly cats, and although I do not currently live with a dog in my foster home, I am young and curious enough that a considerate introduction to a respectful dog would probably work out! Do you think we could be a match?

Story
Big Steppy is a stroke of luck in the fluffiest form—a charming 5-month-old male kitten with an astonishing rescue story. He was discovered by chance, crying within the soffits of an unoccupied new development home, his meows leading to a heartwarming rescue from the attic's insulation  by his foster mom. Since being brought into care last February, Big Steppy has transformed into a vivacious and affectionate young cat. Sporting a dashing white coat with a distinctive black stripe that crowns his head, Big Steppy's striking yellow eyes sparkle with mischief and warmth. His pink nose is often twitching with curiosity, and he carries an air of gentle charm that endears him to everyone he meets. In his foster home, Big Steppy has proven to be a sociable spirit, mingling harmoniously with three other cats. He's a bundle of energy, frolicking around with a lively step, aptly earning his name. Yet, he's just as content to curl up for a cozy nap or enjoy the quiet moments on a welcoming lap. With an affinity for people of all ages, Big Steppy is a perfect family addition—ready to share his boundless love and playful antics. If you're looking for a companion to bring joy and playfulness into your life, Big Steppy is ready to step right in and leave paw prints on your heart.April 24, 2024, 12:44 am
