Story
Meet Goldy, who is now is thriving in her northern foster home. She really adores her people and loves snuggling up or just happily hanging out by your side.Goldy’s start in life was incredibly tough. She was abandoned in an empty house with three other dogs and left to fend for herself for weeks. When she gave birth there, rescuers patiently earned her trust and finally brought her and her puppies to safety. Her pups have all found loving homes, and Goldy—now spayed and thriving—has made incredible progress. She enjoys playing and roughhousing in a fenced yard, though she can still be protective of her food around other dogs.Because she’s still learning to feel fully safe, Goldie will need new or stressful situations introduced slowly and careful supervision around food around other dogs only, humans no problem. Goldie is ready for a loving home that understands her past and can give her the steady, happy future she deserves. She’s come so far—and she can’t wait to make someone’s home complete this holiday season!Name: GoldyBreed: Mixed Breed - perhaps Vizsla/Rhodesian RidgebackSex: FemaleAge: 3 years (estimated)Weight: 57 lbs Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive.
