If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a calm, loving personality, Bluey is your guy. At about 4.5 years old and 90 pounds, this handsome boy is the definition of a gentle giant. He's affectionate, easygoing, and happiest when he's surrounded by the people he loves.
Bluey has wonderful house manners and gets along beautifully with everyone he meets. He loves children, is great with other dogs, does well with cats, and has the kind of sweet, gentle temperament that makes everyone fall in love with him. Whether he's enjoying playtime in the yard, going for a walk, or simply relaxing beside you, Bluey is just happy to be included. He's a joyful, loving dog who is ready to be a devoted member of a family.
Bluey's journey to rescue is one well never forget.
For years, Bluey lived alone in a small outdoor shed through the scorching summer heat and freezing winter cold. One of our rescue volunteers couldn't bear to see him living that way. She pleaded with his owner to let him go, even offering to buy him. She contacted Animal Control, brought him gifts, and refused to give up hope. After countless attempts, the owner finally agreed, and Bluey was set free.
Today, Bluey is thriving in the very foster home of the woman who never stopped fighting for him. She's watched him blossom into the happy, confident dog he was always meant to be, and now it's time for Bluey to find the forever family he's waited so long to have.
After everything he's endured, Bluey deserves a lifetime of love, soft beds, belly rubs, and people who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them.
If you're ready to welcome this incredible boy into your heart and home, submit your adoption application today. Bluey has waited long enough for his happily ever after—now all he needs is you.
