Meet Rebel! Rebel is a sweet, playful young Pointer/Terrier mix who is learning all about the good life after a tough start. He and his brother, Rip,( also for adoption ) were found roaming in the woods after apparently being on their own for more than 10 days. Now, they’re discovering just how wonderful it is to have a warm home, regular meals, soft beds, and people to love!Rebel is a happy, affectionate boy who enjoys playing with other dogs. He absolutely loves kids and would enjoy having canine or human playmates in his new home. He rides nicely in the car and is becoming a pro at crate time—he and Rip actually enjoy their crates!Since everything about indoor life is still new to Rebel, he is continuing to learn his leash skills and house manners. His foster family has been working with him, and he is making great progress. He would do best with a family willing to continue his training and give him plenty of patience, playtime, and companionship.This loving boy has so much potential and is ready to trade his days of roaming for a family of his own. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout the South and New England.Your adoption donation helps cover veterinary care, transportation, and other expenses for your adopted dog. It also helps us continue to save senior dogs and dogs with serious medical needs or injuries. While their adoption donations are often reduced, their veterinary costs are typically much higher.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPaws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England. Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
