Meet Waylon! 🐾❤️ Waylon is an absolutely adorable 2-year-old Pointer/Hound mix with the softest, most soulful eyes and a sweet, earnest expression that melts you the moment he looks your way. He has this gentle little head tilt that makes him look like he’s truly listening to every word you say — it’s impossible not to fall for him. Waylon is a tender, humble boy who just wants to be close to his people. He’ll quietly follow you around, happy to be near you and share in whatever you’re doing. He starts off a bit shy, but once he trusts you, he opens up into the most loving, loyal little shadow. Waylon does wonderfully with kids, loves other dogs, and even does well with cats, making him an easy fit into a wide variety of homes. He’s already crate trained and picking up on new routines and commands fast — he truly wants to please. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a family who will cherish his gentle heart and lovable personality. If you’re looking for a dog who radiates sweetness and has the cutest face you’ll ever meet, Waylon is your boy. 🏡❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. Hello, my name is ​Jasper. I​ was named after the gemstone, Jasper. I am as sweet as a ​sugar, but as playful as can be. I am always happy to see you. I am loving life. ​My new family has to like a fellow with a lot of energy. My new family I would like to hike, go to the beach, go camping, and love to play in the backyard. My original family kept me tied up with little water and even a smaller amount of shade. The lady who rescued me along with my friends Terra and ​O​sa knew I did not have any chance of surviving. So, like she has with so many human parents, go up and demand I am released. Not just because it was right, but because she knew it would be saving my life. Happily, 2 years ago I​ was surrendered to my rescuerer's rescue. Today everything is ​forgotten. But for sure, I want my own family. It does not matter if they have a fur sibling for me or not. I will bring so much joy and many hours of happiness. Nala is a gorgeous 2-year-old Pointer mix who was transferred to a shelter from a prison program. Nala is such a pretty girl! She has likely never had a decent family of her own – we are so thrilled she is getting the chance for adoption! She came in with several dogs from Animal Control in an impoverished area in Louisiana where there is an abundance of homeless dogs. She would love a long walk and then to curl up on the couch with you. She deserves to enjoy the “home” life now – she has never gotten to watch TV, snuggle next to the fire, or have a dog bed of her own. She's 46 lbs. so a nice size.
