She is already spayed, up to date on all of her vaccines, heartworm negative, and current on her monthly preventatives. Sweetie is a perfect medium size, weighing in at about 46 pounds. She is very dog friendly and absolutely thrives around other dogs her size and older! She is a respectful playmate who shows zero food or toy aggression. Because of her play style, she would do best in a home without small dogs, and her foster family is currently unsure of how she would do with cats. This smart girl is fully house trained and has made incredible strides with her crate training, meaning she now happily walks right into her kennel with zero fuss. Because she has a sensitive soul, she can occasionally have a small accident if she gets startled or scared, but a patient, reassuring touch is all she needs to feel safe. Sweetie does experience some separation anxiety when away from her favorite humans, but with the help of a daily medication, it is beautifully managed and under control. She has made massive progress and handles her alone time like a champ! This boy LOVES to eat and gobbles up every meal like it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to him. (And honestly, it might’ve been!) We know he’ll learn that food will always be there for him from now on. Powder is young, playful, and happiest when he’s part of the pack—running, playing, and soaking up all the love and attention. He recently lost part of his tail due to “happy tail” gone wild. We tried everything to save it, but ultimately, a little tail amputation was the best (and safest) choice.
