Story
Hey Jude! She just wants what every dog does, a safe, comfortable home where she can be loved. A shy, sensitive, sweet girl, she asks for time to warm up in a peaceful home that shares her preferred lifestyle of easy living rather than going out on the social scene. But with a gentle touch, and some one on one time, Jude's personality will shine. She delights in chasing balls, sunning in the yard and romping with others. Jude will do well with a doggie friend in her home for confidence. Est. birthdate is 4/7/2023, her $300.00 adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccines, spay and microchip. Jude will certainly hold the key to your heart when she moves in!

Meet Nacho Local Alabama Adoption Fee: $249 Adoption Fee: $449 Adoption Application - Copy & Paste https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 Nacho is a stunning young chocolate Lab mix with a heart as big as his soulful eyes. This sweet boy was found sitting faithfully on the side of the road, as if he was waiting for someone who never came back. Sadly, that’s a story we see far too often in the Deep South—but Nacho’s story is taking a much happier turn. A kind Good Samaritan couldn’t leave him behind and brought him to safety, then reached out to our rescue for help. Now Nacho is ready for his second chance—and a forever family who will never let him down. We believe Nacho is around a year old, and he’s everything you’d hope for in a young Lab: friendly, affectionate, and eager to please. He’s already showing how smart he is and is picking up new things every day. Whether it’s learning routines, basic commands, or just how to be a cherished pet, Nacho is all in. He would love a home where he can continue to learn, play, and most importantly, be loved. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through it all, Nacho is your guy. Ready to give this deserving boy the forever home he’s been waiting for? Send in an adoption application and come meet Nacho—you just might fall in love. 💛 Here's the adoption application, please copy & paste. https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 **To see all of our pets available for adoption, please copy &paste this link. https://www.adoptapet.com/pet-search?radius=50&postalCode=02919&awos[0]=165123&filterMode=all Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Story
This is Lincoln. We rescued her from a sad situation, she was skin and bones and unbeknownst to us pregnant, we were 4/5th people to have her. She’s roughly 14-16 months old. When we rescued her she didn’t even have a name, she had never been shown any affection whatsoever and every time we attempted to pet her she would cower to the ground. The only consistent thing before coming to rescue is that she had always been with other dogs. She is good there and would probably be better if she wasn’t the only dog as she seeks comfort and guidance from them. We’ve worked with her and she’s past the skittish phase and is one of the most loving dogs ever seen but will likely take some time to get comfortable in a new home. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body and just wants to be loved. This sweet girl is full of personality now. She has come out of her shell and will even throw you a smile. She is a great medium sized dog that weighs about 50 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and is heartworm negative. She is being fostered in North Alabama but is available to other areas via transport.

Story
🐾 Meet Atlas – Our Longest-Waiting Adventurer 🐾 Atlas is a 4-year-old Catahoula mix who has been in the rescue program for almost 4 years, and we truly don’t understand how this incredible dog is still waiting for his forever home. Atlas is great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He is cat-friendly, but he can be a bit much for them since he always wants to play—so he’d do best in a cat-free home or one with a very tolerant, confident cat. This guy is active, athletic, and always ready for an adventure. Walks, outings, and staying busy are his jam, so he’ll need an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. Atlas does have some separation anxiety, but it is very manageable and continues to improve with routine and structure. And here’s the really cool part—Atlas has competed in THREE OneWorld Canine Biathlons and absolutely crushed it, even placing 2nd in one of his races! 🏅 This dog has both brains and brawn. 📍 Fostered in Huntsville, AL 🐶 Good with dogs 🐱 Cats with conditions 🏃 Adventure-ready & athletic Atlas has waited long enough. He’s loyal, driven, and ready to be someone’s best adventure buddy. If you’re looking for a dog who will truly be your partner in life, Atlas is your guy. 👉 Apply to adopt at www.forrescue.net Rescue: Friends of Rescue 💙
