Personal shadow, committed snack-tester, 50lb "lap dog" who believes snuggling isn't just a hobby, rahter a calling - that's Gertie! Her heart, and entire body, believes that if she fits (even 10% of her), she sits. When heading to the kitchen, she’s your mandatory escort, so expect a look of betrayal if she doesn't get a treat. Gertie likes to spend cold weather days on the sofa wrapped like a cozy blanket burrito. She would be perfectly happy as your one and only doggie love, though she’s open to a home with a laid-back, easygoing canine friend. Crate and house-trained, est. birthdate 3/4/2024, her $300 adoption fee includes vaccines up to date, parasite prevention, spay and microchip. Gertie is prepared to bless you with all that she is!

Story
Walker is an 1-year-old male Weimaraner who must be neutered before adoption. He was found, as a stray, out in the county and brought in by county animal control.  Walker is a very handsome young guy who has a chocolate coat and gorgeous eyes.  He weighs 56 pounds so he is a large dog.  Walker is frisky and playful but not overly active.  He would enjoy life best with a family who would include him in all their outdoor adventures.  Walker would also appreciate a fenced yard where he could safely play.  He would be good with children.  If you have another dog, we would require a meet & greet with your dog to make sure they would be good together.  Walker is going to make a wonderful addition to some lucky adopter's family.  We just love Walker!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  February 9, 2026, 7:43 pm
