Nacho is a stunning young chocolate Lab mix with a heart as big as his soulful eyes. This sweet boy was found sitting faithfully on the side of the road, as if he was waiting for someone who never came back. Sadly, that’s a story we see far too often in the Deep South—but Nacho’s story is taking a much happier turn.
A kind Good Samaritan couldn’t leave him behind and brought him to safety, then reached out to our rescue for help. Now Nacho is ready for his second chance—and a forever family who will never let him down.
We believe Nacho is around a year old, and he’s everything you’d hope for in a young Lab: friendly, affectionate, and eager to please. He’s already showing how smart he is and is picking up new things every day. Whether it’s learning routines, basic commands, or just how to be a cherished pet, Nacho is all in.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
