She enjoys gentle scratches around her throat and is both smart and well-trained, understanding commands like SIT, STAY, COME HERE, BACK HOME, and PLACE. Although crate-trained, she prefers relaxing on the couch near her family. She loves playing in the backyard, especially chasing balls and sticks, and enjoys evening playtime before bed. Violet thrives on routine, with regular meals, play, and bedtime around 10 PM. She can be playful and curious, so shoes, food and valuables should stay out of reach. More than anything, Violet wants a loving home where she feels safe and included. In return, she’ll provide endless loyalty, companionship, and affection. If you’re looking for a gentle, intelligent, and devoted best friend, Violet is ready to become part of your family. 🐶💜

*Weimeraner Mix*1 yr old; 56lbs (thin)*Very friendly, waggy tailed, happy faced fella. Perfect working in one of our side office areas. Dog social. Good in the car. Handsome Hunk OLIVER is in perpetual smile mode.   A staff member feels GOOFUS would be his ideal middle name. It`s spot on!  On our first `date` at the shelter, the setting was a play yard.  With temps in the high 80`s and humidity out the wazoo,  we were in high bake mode.  No matter to Oliver as he was simply happy to be out and about and making a new friend.   Did you know Oliver kisses on the first date?  Did you know he really prefers hanging with his human vs playing with toys?   Did you know he beautifully waits to get on his harness knowing a walk is ensuing? Found as a stray,  he`s been taught some manners and it`s very easy to LOVE this dog!  Oliver totally lucked out in relaxing in one of our office areas when he first arrived.  He loved being the center of attention.  Very social, interactive, graced with a good attitude and outlook,  he`s dog social, kind and thoughtful in his ways.  Like most dogs, he can have a little extra pep in his step heading out for a walk, but he settles down great and is ready to go with the flow.  Our head turning friend,  sports a sleek, cream coat, a trim physique, a long body frame and captivating light blue eyes.  As I sift through our first date pics,  it truly strikes me how fantastic his smile is and how happy he is.  This is one great dog.  Do ask for Oliver today.

    Gunnie is a 13-year-old female Lab-Weimaraner mix with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. This sweet, silver-coated lady is in her golden years, but don’t let her age fool you — she still perks up for her favorite things: leisurely walks, windows-down car rides, tasty treats, and just about any kind of affection you’re offering. At around 75 lbs, Gunnie is the perfect size for snuggling beside you on the couch or accompanying you on a short stroll through the neighborhood. She's friendly with humans of all kinds and would thrive in a calm home where she can soak up love and enjoy her well-earned retirement. Gunnie is fully vetted, spayed, and house-trained. She does well with other mellow dogs and would be happy as either a solo companion or with her brother Root Beer.
