Story
Meet Kindle! 🐾Kindle is an approximately 5-year-old black and tan Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a gentle heart and a sweet soul. She's looking for a loving family that will give her the fresh start she's been waiting for.Kindle can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, her affectionate personality quickly shines through. Once she feels safe, she's a loving companion who simply wants to be close to the people she trusts. When Kindle first arrived, she was suffering from a severe flea infestation that caused significant hair loss. Thanks to lots of care and treatment, she's feeling so much better, and her coat is steadily growing back. She's come a long way and is ready to leave that chapter of her life behind. Now, Kindle is hoping to find a home where she can continue to blossom. A patient family willing to let her settle in at her own pace will be rewarded with a loyal, grateful companion who has so much love to give.Kindle has overcome a difficult start, but she hasn't let it take away her sweet nature. She's ready for a fresh beginning, a soft bed, and a family to call her own. Could you be the happy ending this deserving girl has been waiting for? Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip). For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. We are located at:1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd Danielsville, GA 30633 706-795-2868NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption. If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.

Story
Meet Westley – Your Loyal, Lovable Sidekick! Westley is a handsome Catahoula mix with a heart as big as his goofy personality. At 50-55 lbs, he’s the perfect-sized companion for someone seeking a devoted best friend. Westley thrives on human connection and is the definition of a Velcro dog—wherever you go, he’ll be right there beside you! He gets along well with other dogs and is even cat-friendly, making him a great addition to a home with existing pets. However, Westley is sensitive to light and sound, and sudden movements or unexpected approaches can startle him. Because of this, his ideal adopter must be experienced and highly aware of their surroundings, ensuring Westley is never put in a situation where he might react out of fear. For Westley, a calm, child-free home is essential—somewhere he won’t be overwhelmed by unpredictable noise or commotion. His deep, unwavering bond with his people makes him an incredibly loyal and loving companion, but he thrives with structure and consistency. He has had professional training and would benefit from continued guidance to reinforce his progress and maintain his confidence. Westley is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations—ready to find his forever home! If you’re looking for a fun-loving goofball who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Westley might just be your perfect match. ##854976##

Story
Sky is a loving, energetic, 8 year old Catahoula Leopard dog mix. We adopted her from the shelter when she was just a puppy and she has been a member of our family ever since. The last couple years have drastically changed for us due to having a baby, husband taking on a second job, I watch other children in the home during the week, and some have developed allergies to pets. I am pregnant with a new baby and need to rehome her asap so she can have the life she deserves. We cannot properly care for her as we once used to and is heartbreaking but needed. She is house trained, great with kids and other animals, loves people, and being outside! Please consider adding this great dog to your family!
