Meet Tate: professional people hugger, certified “Patient of the Day,” and living proof that life doesn’t always go according to plan…but it can still be awesome. 1.5 year old Tate was adopted and thought he had his happily ever after, but after being diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia, he found his way back to us. We left no stone unturned - multiple veterinary consults, X-rays, and enough poking and prodding to earn him Patient of the Day at the vet. (He accepted the honor with tail wags and kisses.) His X-rays even revealed old birdshot pellets scattered through his back legs from sometime before rescue, but the good news? The specialists all agree that right now, Tate just needs an inexpensive otc joint supplement and to keep doing what he loves most: being a happy dog. And happy is exactly what he is. At nearly 70 pounds of pure Lab-energy, Tate believes everyone is his new best friend. Dogs? Love ‘em. Kids? Absolutely. Strangers? Give him 30 seconds and he’ll probably be sitting in their lap. She is sweet and friendly and loving. She was abandoned tied to a post outside a movie theater without water or food. She sat crying waiting for her owner for over 8hrs. She was rescued by someone and brought to a home for 7 hrs, then another one for another day, all in the hopes of finding an owner. She is young and happy when she’s hugged. She loves toys and sleeps well. She’s probably a puppy and hasn’t been house trained. She walks nicely and not aggressive, but needs training. She still isn’t potty trained, but I dont live here full time and can’t keep her. I have less than 24 hrs and I don’t want to send her to a shelter. She’s still so sweet, that just a bit of the right training and she’ll be your favorite. She’s clean and lovely. Please please help her!
