Story
Meet Meadow ?? Meadow is a beautiful 3-year-old silver girl with a big personality and plenty of that classic 3-year-old Weimaraner energy! She loves playing with toys, running around the backyard with her foster dog siblings, and being right by her people. When the day winds down, Meadow is happiest cuddling up in bed with her humans. This sweet girl has good manners and is a busy body who loves to stay active. She also has a high prey drive, so her future family will need to be mindful of that and continue providing the training, structure, and guidance she needs. Because Meadow can become overwhelmed by too much activity, a home with children 10 years and older would be the best fit for her. She would thrive with a family who understands her energy level and is committed to helping her continue to grow into the wonderful companion she is meant to be. Meadow is truly a sweetheart and would make an excellent addition to a loving, active family. ? Could Meadow be your girl? ??

Story
Meet Cleo! This gorgeous 1-year-old blue girl is ready to steal your heart! Cleo is a fun-loving pup with a personality that just wants to please. Cleo gets along great with other dogs and loves nothing more than a good wrestling match and a game of chase. She's well-mannered on a leash and already knows sit, stay, and come (down is a work in progress!). She also has some impressive table manners of her own - she'll sit and wait patiently for her dinner until she gets the "OK." When she's not playing, Cleo is happiest curled up for cuddles. She does experience some separation anxiety, which calming pheromones and essential oils have been helping with - and she'd do best in a home with another high-energy dog or an active human who can keep her engaged and give her plenty of company. She's also not a fan of the kennel (she's a bit of an escape artist!), so a home where she isn't crated for long periods would suit her well. Cleo is looking for a family who wants an affectionate, playful companion by their side. Could that be you?

Story
Josie is a sweet, energetic 1-year-old Weimaraner with tons of personality and a playful spirit. She is a smart girl who loves the water, car rides, and spending time with both people and other dogs. Josie is continuing to learn what structure and boundaries mean. In her foster home, she enjoys chasing and playing with her foster dog siblings and is learning how to settle into a routine. Once she gets comfortable and calms down, Josie loves nothing more than cuddling with her people. She enjoys walks and is making great progress with her leash skills and training. Like many young Weimaraners, Josie has plenty of energy and loves to jump and play, so she would do best with a family who is patient, active, and committed to continuing her training. Because of her exuberance, children over the age of 10 would be the best fit. Josie has never been around cats, so we believe she would be happiest in a cat-free home. Josie is looking for a family who will give her the structure, patience, exercise, attention, and continued training she needs to thrive. In return, she'll give you a fun-loving, affectionate companion who is always ready for an adventure-and a cuddle when the day is done! Josie is being fostered in Menomonee Falls, WI. Could Josie be the energetic, loving girl your family has been waiting for?

Story
Meet Ori ? Ori is a beautiful 5-year-old silver Weimaraner girl with all the classic Weimaraner energy and personality! She's looking for a family who understands the breed and can keep up with her active lifestyle. Ori would make an amazing hiking, running, or adventure partner. She wants to be included in family life and is happiest when she gets plenty of exercise and gets to be part of the action. Give her enough activity and she's happy to hang out-she doesn't need to be crated as long as her exercise needs are met. She'll also make sure you don't sleep in! At 7 AM, Ori may appear at your bedside with her favorite tennis ball, ready to start the day. ? She loves car rides, playing in the water, and playing frisbee with her food dish-because apparently a food bowl is also a perfectly good frisbee! ? Ori is good with other dogs with a supervised, calm introduction. She can be shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she warms up quickly and loves to wrestle and play with her dog friends. She is also shy with people initially, but quickly comes around to those who show her love, patience, and give her time to feel comfortable. ? Ori is still working on her leash manners. She sees pretty much every dog we pass as a potential new playmate and can get excited when she spots them. Because of her energy and strength, she'll do best with someone committed to continuing her leash training. She would be best suited for kids 12+ who understand and respect a dog's boundaries. Ori is a fun, affectionate, active girl who is ready to find someone who will make her a true member of the family. If you're an experienced Weimaraner owner with an active lifestyle and are looking for a four-legged adventure buddy, Ori might be your girl! ??

Story
Rio is a beautiful 5 year old Weimaraner mix - with a Lab we believe. Rio was likely dumped by his owner as he was found in the forest of a nature preserve with Santorini (see Sandy's bio). Both dogs were likely in survival mode for several months. They're remarkably resilient dogs currently being fostered in Grand Haven, Michigan. They do not have to be adopted together - but if you're in the market for a pair of dogs...Sandy & Rio would be ever so grateful.
