Story
Max Sterling is his name, puppy love and fun is his game! If there's water to splash in, a toy to carry, a trail to explore, or a new friend to greet, Max is already halfway there with a wagging tail and the kind of puppy enthusiasm that's impossible not to smile at. Equal parts cuddle buddy, adventure apprentice, and joyful little shadow, he's growing into the kind of dog who makes everyday life feel a little more fun simply by being part of it. Go watch Max Sterling on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this silver-coated sweetheart. You'll get to see his happy personality in action, his easygoing nature, and why everyone who meets him seems to leave with a grin. https://youtu.be/gbsyE4ORxFE Estimated to be around 4 months old, Max currently weighs 33 pounds. He looks every bit like a Weimaraner, possibly with a dash of Pit Bull mixed in, though as with all rescue dogs, his breed and age are simply our best guess. Whatever combination created him certainly knew what it was doing. From his sleek silver coat and expressive amber eyes to his athletic build and thoughtful gaze, Max has all the classic good looks of a young Weimaraner paired with the warm, people-loving personality we all adore. For a puppy, Max already has a wonderfully solid foundation. He is being fostered in a loving home where he's learning all the important things that help puppies grow into fantastic family dogs. He has lovely house manners, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and approaches new experiences with curiosity instead of worry. He's eager to learn, highly treat motivated, and seems to genuinely enjoy figuring out what you're asking of him. Max is wonderfully social too. He happily plays with dogs both big and small and has the kind of easygoing confidence that allows him to fit into different groups without making a fuss. New people are simply future friends waiting to say hello, and he greets them with the cheerful optimism only a happy puppy can deliver. One thing you'll discover quickly is that Max is fairly certain water makes every activity better. Kiddie pool? Fantastic. Creek? Even better. If your idea of a perfect weekend includes hikes, lake days, backyard sprinklers, or simply having a four-legged sidekick along for the ride, Max is ready to enthusiastically sign up. Like every puppy, Max will continue learning as he grows, but he's already showing all the signs of becoming an incredibly well-rounded companion. With continued positive training, plenty of adventures, and a family excited to help him discover the world, this handsome young guy has all the ingredients to become an extraordinary lifelong best friend. If you're looking for a puppy who's affectionate, confident, playful, eager to learn, and already off to an amazing start, Max just might be your perfect match. Story
Doc McGee is the name.... and FUN is the game!! I am a mixture of some hunting dogs…I like to raise up my paw when I see something in the backyard and I have some herding qualities. i like to try to corral my mom’s personal dogs around the yard. I am the sweetest boy at nighttime and I love to snuggle with my foster mommy in her bed at night…I love to be skin-on-skin! I do not like my kennel to sleep in. I bark if I cannot be laying with you. I am athletic and energetic and love to wrestle with my doggy siblings at my foster mom’s house. I really want a fun furry friend to play with at my new home. I also like to play with the 2 legged humans that like to talk “baby talk” to me. I am still working on potty training. I always pee-pee like a big boy out in the grass, but I sometimes have some accidents inside. I need to go outside right away in the morning when I wake up and I need to go outside within 2 minutes of eating to continue having success. I am a fun boy and I like to play with any and all squeaky toys, and I like to chew on anything that my toofers fit on….firewood, balls, toys, blankies, old shoes etc. I am very good at fetching when my human throws toys. Do I sound like a good fit for you? I cannot wait to go to my furever home!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
