He looks every bit like a Weimaraner, possibly with a dash of Pit Bull mixed in, though as with all rescue dogs, his breed and age are simply our best guess. Whatever combination created him certainly knew what it was doing. From his sleek silver coat and expressive amber eyes to his athletic build and thoughtful gaze, Max has all the classic good looks of a young Weimaraner paired with the warm, people-loving personality we all adore. For a puppy, Max already has a wonderfully solid foundation. He is being fostered in a loving home where he's learning all the important things that help puppies grow into fantastic family dogs. He has lovely house manners, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and approaches new experiences with curiosity instead of worry. He's eager to learn, highly treat motivated, and seems to genuinely enjoy figuring out what you're asking of him. Max is wonderfully social too. He happily plays with dogs both big and small and has the kind of easygoing confidence that allows him to fit into different groups without making a fuss. New people are simply future friends waiting to say hello, and he greets them with the cheerful optimism only a happy puppy can deliver.
