Meet Vanilla DOB: 3/31/2024 Weight: 40 lbs Breed: Weimaraner Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Vanilla is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to ask for attention—you feel her gentle presence, and everything just feels a little calmer. At only two years old, Vanilla has already overcome so much. She is a distemper survivor, and instead of hardening her, it made her softer, more loving, and incredibly special. Today, she is healthy, safe, and finally ready for the life she’s always deserved. There’s something truly beautiful about her spirit. Vanilla loves quietly but deeply. She’ll stay close, look up at you with those soft, trusting eyes, and simply be there—your calm, your comfort, your companion. Personality Vanilla is calm, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. She enjoys being near her people and brings a peaceful, comforting energy into the home. She’s not overly demanding and would thrive with someone who appreciates a gentle, steady dog. Breed Info As a Weimaraner mix, Vanilla carries traits of intelligence, loyalty, and sensitivity. While the breed is often energetic, Vanilla leans toward the calmer side, making her a wonderful balance of connection and ease. Ideal Home Vanilla would do best in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and continue to build confidence. She will thrive with someone patient, kind, and committed. Owner Responsibilities Vanilla will need consistency, routine, and love. Like all dogs, she requires proper care, exercise, and lifelong commitment. Things to Consider Please ensure your home, time, and finances are ready for a dog. Adoption is a long-term responsibility, and Vanilla deserves a forever home. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to feel fully at home With patience, Vanilla will truly blossom. Veterinary Care Vanilla is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing her to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue her care. Important Note Vanilla is an indoor family dog. She is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Jessie is a playful, loving puppy. She loves to play with balls and run on the beach. We adopted Jessie from a shelter when she was 10 weeks old, the shelter thought she was a weimaraner and she looks like she also has some pit bull mixed in. From the begging Jessie had had some anxiety, she doesn’t like cars, she will get in but pants and paces. She doesn’t do great in new environments. We had a baby 10 months ago and Jessie has not been able to adapt to our new life. We are heartbroken to rehome our pup but know that she deserves a better life.

Story
Doc McGee is the name.... and FUN is the game!! Let's face it, my very short life was almost over a couple of weeks ago.... alone in a rural pound with no hope of getting out alive ;( But my luck changed in that little shelter.... I was SAVED!! i am up-to-date on all vaccines and have been neutered and microchipped. i am for sure a mixture of some hunting dogs…i like to raise up my paw when i see something in the backyard and i have some herding qualities. i like to try to corral my mom’s personal dogs around the yard.  i am the sweetest boy at nighttime and i love to snuggle with my foster mommy in her bed at night…i love to be skin-on-skin! i do not like my kennel to sleep in. i bark if i cannot be laying with you.  i am athletic and energetic and love to wrestle with my doggy siblings at my foster mom’s house. i really want a fun furry friend to play with at my new home.  i also like to play with the 2 legged humans that like to talk “baby talk” to me.  i am still working on potty training. i always pee-pee like a big boy out in the grass, but i sometimes have some accidents inside. i need to go outside right away in the morning when i wake up and i need to go outside within 2 minutes of eating to continue having success.  i am a fun boy and i like to play with any and all squeaky toys, and i like to chew on anything that my toofers fit on….firewood, balls, toys, blankies, old shoes etc. i am very good at fetching when my human throws toys. do i sound like a good fit for you? i cannot wait to go to my furever home!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Looking for a professional cuddler who doubles as a world class playmate? Meet the girl who is ready to turn your home into a nonstop festival of belly rubs and tail wags! https://youtu.be/y1boHfjcpps If sweetness were a sport, this girl would have a gold medal around her neck! She’s the ultimate cool girl who wins over every human she meets with a little wiggle and a lot of heart. While she might start off a tiny bit shy, one treat is all it takes to unlock her goofy, love bug personality. Get ready for a dog who doesn’t just live with you; she celebrates you every single day! This girl is the definition of a velcro dog in the very best way. She is a dedicated shadow who prefers to be wherever you are, whether you’re folding laundry or finally finishing that book. She isn’t necessarily looking to hike across the country; she's more of a map out the best spot on the rug kind of girl. If you’re looking for a companion who prioritizes quality time and indoor snuggles, you’ve found your match. While we’re always playing a fun guessing game with rescue breeds, we believe Gracie is a Catahoula mix! She has a beautiful white and brindle coat that is truly captivating; it’s the kind of coat you can’t look at just once, as you’re constantly discovering new patterns and variations in her stripes. Weighing in at a solid 56lbs, she’s compact enough to be your favorite plus one for errands, yet has a heart that’s clearly oversized! She’s the ideal size for someone who wants a buddy who fits comfortably on the sofa next to them. She is currently thriving in a foster home where she’s already proving what a star student she can be. Gracie is gentle and patient, she is also kid-friendly, making her a wonderful addition to a home with children. She’s familiar with her crate and settles down beautifully. She’s a dream in the house, calm, focused, and very respectful of her boundaries (and her snacks!). Whether it’s a car ride to the park or a quiet evening in, she’s just happy to be part of the family. When it comes to other dogs, she is an absolute rockstar! She handles leash greetings with total grace and is always down for a game of tag with her canine friends. She’s a very balanced girl who gets along with almost everyone. She’d be a fantastic addition to a home with an existing dog who wants a playful, easygoing sister to romp around with. She is also a devoted soul who is more than happy to thrive as your one and only, soaking up every bit of your attention. The jury is still out on whether Gracie’s a cat person, but she’s definitely got the curiosity! To make sure it’s a purrfect match, she’s ready to have a supervised sleepover with a feline. It would be the best way to see if she and a kitty sibling can become the ultimate besties. Don’t have a massive backyard? No problem! This girl is the ultimate apartment candidate. She’s easy to exercise and knows exactly how to flip the off switch once she’s indoors. Her foster mom says she’s happiest just hanging out and cuddling, making her the perfect neighbor. Her ideal home is anywhere her favorite person happens to be! In short, she’s a sensitive soul with a love for other dogs, and a serious talent for belly rubs. She’s the loyal, easy to love companion you’ve been dreaming of, wrapped up in a sweet, wiggly package. Story
Meet Betsy Blue, the wiggly, talkative, piglet-sounding sweetheart you didn’t know you needed in your life. Betsy is about two years old, and while we can’t be certain since she’s a rescue, our best guess is that she’s a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix. With her one blue eye and one brown eye, her soft, floppy ears, and her gorgeous coloring, she’s as stunning as she is silly. At first, Betsy can be a little hesitant when meeting new people. She’ll do her signature “drive by bump” just to test you out before deciding you’re worthy of her wiggles. But once she warms up, you’ll see a whole new side of her — joyful, snorty, and downright hilarious. Her foster says she sounds like a piglet when she gets excited, and she’s been known to jump for joy when her favorite people walk into the room. Once you’re in Betsy’s inner circle, you’ll be greeted with wags, wiggles, and the most loving gaze you could imagine. This girl has a deep love for her people. See just how loving and silly this girl can be in her video! https://youtu.be/s42gtTUfaQg?si=chzlVTRf8K1Stl5r Betsy is an active girl who loves her walks, and she’s an absolute dream on the leash. She’ll trot right beside you, checking in with sweet eye contact to make sure you’re enjoying yourself as much as she is. Back at home, she’s a toy enthusiast — her favorite playthings are actually small plush cat toys. She’ll toss them into the air, chase them around, and keep herself entertained with the tiniest of stuffies. She’s also a huge foodie, totally motivated by treats, which makes her not only fun but easy to train. Betsy is a smart girl too! She picks up new commands within a day or so, and loves to spend quality time learning with you. Betsy has lived with other dogs in her foster home and, while she can be shy and a little unsure at first, she blossoms once she feels safe. With time and patience, she turns into a playful companion who enjoys running, chasing, and being chased. She’s also done well living with cats, she’s proven herself capable of settling in peacefully with them. She even wrestles with her feline foster siblings!! Dog-savvy cats are definitely the best fit! Because Betsy can be slow to open up to new people, she would do best with a family who understands the beauty of patience. She would thrive in a quieter home where she can truly decompress, gain confidence, and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. Older kids who can respect her space and let her come around on her own terms would be a great match for her. Once she trusts you, though, Betsy bonds hard. She’ll be your devoted best friend, your walking buddy, your toy-tossing partner, and your snuggly couch companion. Betsy never fails to bring a smile to everyone she meets. She’s wiggly, silly, snorty, and incredibly loyal — the kind of dog who will make you laugh every single day while reminding you just how special the bond between a rescue and their person can be. She has been described as just so loveable! If you’re ready to give her the patience she deserves, Betsy is ready to give you her whole heart. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
