Meet Felipe Male DOB: May 23, 2025 Current Weight: 60 lbs Breed: Weimaraner / Terrier Mix Neutered (Fixed): Yes Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Felipe's world changed when the family he thought would be his forever home made the difficult decision to surrender him after only seven months. Through no fault of his own, he suddenly found himself searching for a second chance. While losing his family was heartbreaking, Felipe hasn't let it change his loving spirit. He continues to greet everyone with kindness, hoping that the next family who welcomes him home will truly be forever. Felipe is a friendly, affectionate young dog who loves being around people. He has wonderful house manners and is already house trained, making the transition into his new home much easier. He enjoys spending time with his family, whether it's joining them on walks, relaxing around the house, or simply being nearby. His gentle personality and loyal nature make him an easy dog to fall in love with. As a Weimaraner / Terrier Mix, Felipe combines the intelligence, athleticism, and loyalty of the Weimaraner with the curiosity and playful spirit of the Terrier. This mix is known for being highly trainable, eager to please, and happiest when included in family activities. Felipe enjoys staying active but also appreciates quiet moments spent relaxing with the people he loves. Felipe would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily exercise and outdoor adventures Continued positive reinforcement training Mental stimulation through puzzle toys and interactive games Plenty of companionship and family time Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his emotional and physical well-being Felipe has already experienced the sadness of losing one home. He deserves a family that will see him not as a temporary companion, but as a lifelong member of the family. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty, unconditional love, and years of faithful companionship. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Felipe already has a wonderful head start because he is house trained and has experience living in a home. Even so, moving to a new environment takes time, and every rescue dog benefits from patience while learning a new routine. Felipe is intelligent, eager to learn, and responds well to positive reinforcement. Continuing his training will help build his confidence and strengthen the bond with his new family. Felipe will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily exercise and enrichment Continued socialization Mental stimulation through training and puzzle toys Consistent routines and clear expectations Patience, encouragement, and love Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and consistency, Felipe will settle in beautifully and become the loyal companion he's meant to be. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, companionship, exercise, and routine veterinary care. Felipe will need: Routine veterinary care and annual wellness examinations Preventative flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite protection Proper nutrition to maintain a healthy weight Daily exercise appropriate for his age and energy level Continued training and mental enrichment A safe, stable indoor living environment As a young, active dog, Felipe will thrive with families who enjoy including their dog in everyday life. Daily walks, playtime, and opportunities to explore will help keep both his body and mind healthy. Felipe is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

These pups are in Portland, Oregon too!

Looking for a professional cuddler who doubles as a world class playmate? Meet the girl who is ready to turn your home into a nonstop festival of belly rubs and tail wags! https://youtu.be/y1boHfjcpps If sweetness were a sport, this girl would have a gold medal around her neck! She’s the ultimate cool girl who wins over every human she meets with a little wiggle and a lot of heart. While she might start off a tiny bit shy, one treat is all it takes to unlock her goofy, love bug personality. Get ready for a dog who doesn’t just live with you; she celebrates you every single day! This girl is the definition of a velcro dog in the very best way. She is a dedicated shadow who prefers to be wherever you are, whether you’re folding laundry or finally finishing that book. She isn’t necessarily looking to hike across the country; she's more of a map out the best spot on the rug kind of girl. If you’re looking for a companion who prioritizes quality time and indoor snuggles, you’ve found your match. While we’re always playing a fun guessing game with rescue breeds, we believe Gracie is a Catahoula mix! She has a beautiful white and brindle coat that is truly captivating; it’s the kind of coat you can’t look at just once, as you’re constantly discovering new patterns and variations in her stripes. Weighing in at a solid 56lbs, she’s compact enough to be your favorite plus one for errands, yet has a heart that’s clearly oversized! She’s the ideal size for someone who wants a buddy who fits comfortably on the sofa next to them. She is currently thriving in a foster home where she’s already proving what a star student she can be. Gracie is gentle and patient, she is also kid-friendly, making her a wonderful addition to a home with children. She’s familiar with her crate and settles down beautifully. She’s a dream in the house, calm, focused, and very respectful of her boundaries (and her snacks!). Whether it’s a car ride to the park or a quiet evening in, she’s just happy to be part of the family. When it comes to other dogs, she is an absolute rockstar! She handles leash greetings with total grace and is always down for a game of tag with her canine friends. She’s a very balanced girl who gets along with almost everyone. She’d be a fantastic addition to a home with an existing dog who wants a playful, easygoing sister to romp around with. She is also a devoted soul who is more than happy to thrive as your one and only, soaking up every bit of your attention. The jury is still out on whether Gracie’s a cat person, but she’s definitely got the curiosity! To make sure it’s a purrfect match, she’s ready to have a supervised sleepover with a feline. It would be the best way to see if she and a kitty sibling can become the ultimate besties. Don’t have a massive backyard? No problem! This girl is the ultimate apartment candidate. She’s easy to exercise and knows exactly how to flip the off switch once she’s indoors. Her foster mom says she’s happiest just hanging out and cuddling, making her the perfect neighbor. Her ideal home is anywhere her favorite person happens to be! In short, she’s a sensitive soul with a love for other dogs, and a serious talent for belly rubs. She’s the loyal, easy to love companion you’ve been dreaming of, wrapped up in a sweet, wiggly package. Story
Meet Jesse Freckles! Jesse is an approximately four-month-old Pointer/Pittie mix puppy with the sweetest little face and a personality that's just as irresistible. With his rich chocolate-colored patches, adorable speckled freckles, velvety floppy ears, and warm honey-golden eyes, he's the kind of puppy who melts hearts the second you meet him. If there's one thing Jesus loves most, it's toys! Stuffed toys, squeaky toys, crinkly toys—you name it, he wants to play with it. Sometimes he gets so excited that he can't even decide which toy to grab first! Watching him bounce from toy to toy with his wagging tail is guaranteed to make you smile. Jesse Freckles is an absolutely adorable puppy whose scattered spots make him completely irresistible! Confident and playfully medium-energy, he is deeply affectionate with people, playful with other dogs, and constantly showing off his favorite toys to anyone willing to join the fun. Jesse would thrive in a home with a friendly female dog who can show him the ropes and patiently keep teaching him his puppy manners as he grows. Watch Jesus in action in his video! https://youtu.be/tLzBa_aJXKA?si=Mis27-CyHtFtV2IZ This handsome boy is also incredibly smart. He's already learned how to sit and is extremely treat motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Offer him a tasty snack, and he'll happily show off just how clever he is. He's eager to learn and loves having a job to do, making him a wonderful candidate for continued training. When playtime is over, Jesus transforms into the sweetest cuddle buddy. He loves snuggling up close, soaking up affection, and handing out the gentlest puppy kisses. He's the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and intelligent. Jesus is growing up alongside his littermates and absolutely loves having other dogs around. Whether he's wrestling, chasing toys, or tumbling through the yard, he has the best time playing with his puppy friends. Because of this, he'd love a home with another playful dog to help show him the ropes and continue building his confidence. Like all young puppies, Jesus is still learning all the important life skills. He's working on potty training, crate training, leash walking, and learning good puppy manners. His future family should be ready to continue his training using lots of positive reinforcement, consistency, patience, and, of course, plenty of treats! The time you invest now will help him grow into an amazing lifelong companion. If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts brains, cuddles, and endless fun, Jesus is ready to steal your heart. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a0fc8a1d120c032230a9f06 Questions? Shredder is a stunning 7-month-old brindle boy whose proof that sometimes the best really is saved for last. The last of his litter, this handsome pup is what we like to call bomb proof—easygoing, adaptable, and ready to fit into just about any loving home. We think he's a Pittie/Catahoula mix, but whatever his DNA says, 100% of it is good boy. First things first, you should definitely watch their video: https://youtu.be/J-CijmQWwyA?si=ktlOgEK9YNi9Of5m It perfectly captures their playful, silly puppy energy. Fostered in a busy home with kids and multiple dogs, Shredder has taken everything in stride. He's incredibly well-mannered for such a young pup and already has all the basics down. He's crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is quickly becoming his foster mom's favorite running partner. If you've been dreaming of a four-legged jogging buddy, Shredder is already lacing up his imaginary sneakers. When he's not out exploring, he's happy to curl up for snuggles or entertain himself with a pile of toys. He has that perfect puppy balance of playful energy and a soft, cuddly side that melts hearts. Shredder has been around dogs of all ages and personalities and gets along wonderfully with everyone—even the grumpy senior dogs who appreciate their personal space. He'd love a canine sibling in his forever home, but he'd also thrive as your one and only as long as he has regular playdates, adventures, and opportunities to socialize. Because he's such a thoughtful, well-behaved pup, we think he has great potential to live with cats as well, and we're happy to cat test him for the right family. All Shredder is looking for is a home with a yard, lots of love, and people who are ready to include him in their adventures. Fair warning: this gorgeous brindle boy is a total head-turner. Be prepared for strangers to stop you just to ask about him everywhere you go. If you're looking for a puppy who's already mastered the important stuff while still having all the fun, joy, and adventure of puppyhood ahead of him, Shredder is ready to be your perfect match. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69a1ed94afc5f28e9c010a4d Questions?
