Story
Location: Front Royal, VA Meet Willow. This gorgeous three year old mixed breed beauty weighs about fifty six pounds and is equal parts strength, sweetness, and comedy. With her soft flowing ears, soulful expression, and big personality, Willow has a way of making herself unforgettable from the moment you meet her. Willow loves people. Truly loves them. She wants to be close, involved, and part of whatever is happening. Whether she is stretched out beside you on the sofa, soaking up the breeze on the deck, or trying her very best to become a sixty pound lap dog, her happiest place is near her humans. She adores pets, back scratches, and affection of any kind. She settled into foster life quickly, especially considering the major change she has experienced after losing her previous owner. At first, she may cry a little when left alone, but she settles within a reasonable amount of time and is already learning that her people always come back. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and enjoys having a comfortable routine. Willow is playful, goofy, and wonderfully expressive. She loves toys, especially if they squeak, though the squeakers rarely survive for long. Fetch is not exactly her game. In Willow’s mind, if you threw the toy away, clearly you did not want it anymore. She is also pretty sure any toy that rolls down a hill is a personal inconvenience directed at her specifically. Car rides are one of her favorite things. Willow fully believes the passenger seat belongs to her and settles in like a proper copilot, calmly supervising your driving or curling up for a nap once she approves of your route. She enjoys being outside, exploring, and stretching her legs, but she is not a dog who wants to live apart from her people. She wants connection, companionship, and love. Willow does have a bit of a bull in a china shop quality because she does not fully realize her size, but it only adds to her charm. Willow is a strong, affectionate, resilient girl who has been through loss and change yet still greets life with warmth and joy. She is ready for a new home where she can settle in, feel secure again, and remind everyone daily how wonderful life is with a big goofy best friend by your side.

Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💦🐾 Meet Branch — Splash Specialist; Full-Time Fun Coordinator! 🐾💦 5 Months Old • Male • Weimaraner/Lab Mix • Future 70ish lbs of Awesome Me and my littermates were found dumped at a hunting cabin in rural Texas — no running water, no comforts, no explanation. And yet somehow... I have decided that life is AMAZING and plan to live every second of it at full volume. At 5 months old, I'm the definition of happy chaos wrapped in a shiny puppy coat. I is outgoing, social, wildly people-oriented, and firmly believes that strangers are simply friends I hasn’t tackled with kisses yet. Being a Weimaraner/Lab mix, I's got the brains, the athleticism, and the “let’s go do something!” attitude. I’ll likely grow into a fabulous 70ish-pound adventure buddy — perfect for hiking, swimming, camping, road-tripping, and dramatically flopping across your couch when I's done conquering the world. My Passionate Things Include : • Water. If it splashes, I’s in it. • Other dogs — instant wrestling partners. • People — especially the ones with treats. • Running full speed toward absolutely nothing. • Walks and hikes Standard Puppy Features Include: • Zoomies that cover impressive square footage • Oversized paws I hasn’t quite figured out yet • The “Did you see that?!” excited bounce • The most innocent face when caught mid-shenanigan I would thrive in an active home that loves outdoor fun and doesn’t mind a little dirt, a little splash, and a whole lot of personality. I’s at the perfect age to learn all the good-dog things — manners, routines, adventures — and I’s so smart I catch on quickly! I isn’t just going to be a big dog — I’s going to be a big-hearted one. The kind who greets you like you’ve been gone for years, who lives for weekend adventures, and who collapses at your feet at the end of a full day. If your life could use more laughter, more splashes, and about 70 pounds of joyful loyalty, I is ready to jump in paws first. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let me bring the fun and the big puppy magic home 🐾💙

Story
Meet Molly: Molly is about a 12 weeks (as of May 14, 2026) Catahoula/Lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 20 pounds. This litter of cuties (Gracey, Sadie, Brandi, Molly, Goldie, Snoopy, Dottie and Daisy) was found as strays with their mom in a rural area in Mississippi. Luckily the person who spotted them took them and dropped them at a local animal shelter. We heard about the need to get them into a rescue and were able to step up. Molly is being fostered in the Lititz, PA area and would love to meet her forever family! Molly, and this full litter, is a group of very active, sweet, friendly and loving pups. Molly is a confident girl that loves to play. She is great with other dogs and loves zooming around the yard, playing with toys, and cuddling on your lap. Molly has been around cats and is interested in them. She will run and bark at them and then lick her new little friends. Molly is a house training super star: she hasn't had any accidents in her foster home!  We would love for Molly to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Molly is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate. If you are interested in giving this little cutie a great life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Meet Goldie: Goldie is about a 14 week old (as of May 28, 2026) Catahoula/Lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 18 pounds. She is a very sweet and loving puppy.  Goldie was part of a litter that was surrendered to an animal shelter in MS, along with their mother. She and all of her litter mates (Gracey, Sadie, Brandi, Molly, Snoopy, Dottie, and Daisy) are active, sweet, friendly and loving pups. Goldie is being fostered in the Lititz, PA area and would love to meet her forever family! Her fosters can only say good things about this beautiful girl. She is great with kids and loves to meet other dogs. If she had her way, she would meet every dog she passes. Goldie is smart, too! She has only been with her fosters since mid-May 2026 and she has already learned the "sit" and "leave it" commands. We think she has the potential to learn much more.  Goldie was around cats when she lived in the south. She was interested in them. She would run and bark at them and then lick her new little friends. As a puppy, Goldie will need some patience while she works on her house training. She has been doing well with potty-traning, but still needs a little more time to master this skill. Goldie is crate-trained. She didn't like the crate at first, but has learned that it's not so bad being crated. She will "complain" for a few minutes, but then settles down and goes to sleep. We would love for Goldie to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Goldie is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate.
