Story
Meet Rio! A 12 pound, 3 month old adorable pup who was found all alone behind a grocery store. He is absolutely adorable, and such a fantastic dog.  A note from foster mom: “Rio is a such a sweet and playful boy! He loves playing with his foster brothers and is learning to play tug. He will run in the yard, play with his own toys and even cuddle during the work day sometimes. He likes to know his human is close, but is learning to be a little more brave with his foster brothers leading the way.  He does really well in the kennel both during the day and overnight. With potty breaks every 2 hours during the day, and supervised play time there have been no accidents in the house or kennel so far.  He eats well in his kennel and is such an amazing puppy! He will steal your heart and make the best pup for the right family!” If you are interested in getting approved to meet this boy, who is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventatives, please complete the application below. His adoption fee is $450, with $50 refunded after proof of age appropriate neuter. &#239&#191&#188 https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-applicationApril 23, 2024, 4:09 pm

Bug's owner is ill and no longer able to care for her. Bug is housebroken, leash-trained, and crate trained. She loves kids and other dogs. Bug is a really sweet girl who loves to take walks and hikes. She is current on all vet care and her shots. Bug weighs 42 pounds and we estimate she is between 4-5 years old. We will provide all of the things needed to take care of her including her large, high-quality crate, bed, leash, collars, food and water bowls, a bag of food, shampoo, mousse for her coat, grooming brush, a coat, a bag of her favorite toys, etc. We live in Baltimore County and are temporarily taking care of Bug. Happy for you to visit if you would like to meet her. Our goal is to find a nice home for her with an owner or family who will love her.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. Meet Bilbo Baggins! (And if you aren’t a Lord of the Rings fan, he answers to Billy also!) This relatively chill, young, perfectly medium-sized hound ended up in the shelter with a number spray-painted on his side late last year, and oh how far he has come since! He’s affectionate, smart, listens, comes when called, is house and crate trained, and gets along with other dogs of all sizes and ages. Bilbo also likes children 8 and above (he hasn’t met any younger than that.) He’s very agile and has lots of energy for playing and running, but then comes inside and is also happy curling up on the sofa with you, or in an empty easy chair or dog bed. Bilbo enjoys car rides and exploring new things, too. He also doesn’t seem to have much or any prey drive. His foster said he can still be a little jittery or get startled by loud or strange noises or movements, and he’s on a low-cost daily med to help him with that. We don’t know his history before he came to us, of course, but he’s happy being part of the family and flexing to whatever his family is doing!  If you are interested in Bilbo, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 23, 2024, 12:08 pm
