Our gentle, 85 lb Weimaraner girl named cloud is almost 8 years old. She's a true gentle giant: calm, affectionate, and wonderful with kids and other dogs.She's fully crate trained, low-maintenance, and happy to relax beside you. She does love her walks, so she'll thrive with someone who can give her regular daily exercise.Why she needs a new home: Our child developed a serious allergy to her coat, and after a lot of heartache we've decided the best thing for everyone is to find her a home where she can be loved without the health risk. This is not an easy decision for us.Health: Cloud is a survivor. She had a small skin melanoma removed and recovered beautifully. She has been cancer-free for almost 7 months, and we're happy to share her vet records and follow-up plan with her new family.She has so much love left to give. How it started: Meet Colin, a 1yr old gentle sweet boy. As a puppy he got lost in the system, altered and vaxed, but never got to adoption events so he never has had the chance to be in a home with a family. He and his siblings were dropped off at the shelter and were set to be euthanized, but luckily he was saved. Now he’s ready to learn how to be a dog, how to get snuggles and how to be a loyal, loving companion to your family for life. More on Colin: Colin originally came from California so he is bi-coastal. He fits in anywhere and everywhere! What a lovely boy Colin is in every sense of the word. He was a house dog and lost his home like so many others. He is house-trained and once followed his master around the house helping her in daily activities. That was his job that he did so willingly, so gently. Colin is very dog friendly and loves to go on nature walks. He is very easy on the leash. A perfect boy who enjoys all forms of training...what we call in the dog world - "a huge will-to-please" - a dog trainer's and a dog lover's delight! I acquired Kali from her previous owner through a private rehoming arrangement. She is currently 1 year old and is a purebred Catahoula Leopard Dog.Kali is an incredibly loving dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She thrives in social settings, enjoys being around people, and brings a lot of life and excitement wherever she goes. She is very energetic, curious, playful, endearing, and loyal. She loves to explore and has a naturally adventurous spirit, so she would do best in a home that can provide her with plenty of space, stimulation, and opportunities for activity. She is still learning to control her excitement peeing, but has shown evidence of progress.I am looking for a home that is patient, active, and experienced or prepared for a high-energy working breed. Ideally, her new family would have a safe environment where she can grow, explore, and continue developing into a well-rounded adult dog while receiving the love, structure, and attention she deserves.
