The two dogs were abandoned by the previous owner and chained up out in the country with no running water or electricity. They are very willing to please Very trainable very sweet and very loving and very active. I do not recommend that they be adopted together as it is too hard to train siblings.

Story
How it started: Meet Colin, a 1yr old gentle sweet boy. As a puppy he got lost in the system, altered and vaxed, but never got to adoption events so he never has had the chance to be in a home with a family. He and his siblings were dropped off at the shelter and were set to be euthanized, but luckily he was saved. Now he’s ready to learn how to be a dog, how to get snuggles and how to be a loyal, loving companion to your family for life. More on Colin: Colin originally came from California so he is bi-coastal. He fits in anywhere and everywhere! What a lovely boy Colin is in every sense of the word. He was a house dog and lost his home like so many others. He is house-trained and once followed his master around the house helping her in daily activities. That was his job that he did so willingly, so gently. Colin is very dog friendly and loves to go on nature walks. He is very easy on the leash. A perfect boy who enjoys all forms of training...what we call in the dog world - "a huge will-to-please" - a dog trainer's and a dog lover's delight! Give us a call today and find out more about this sweet boy that we all love so much. Ask about the Reunion Rescue holistic support plan which comes with every dog and our foster-to-adopt program.

Story
James is just about a perfect dog. He'd wound up in a kill shelter at only 8 weeks old and has not found his family yet. BUT..James is a perfect gentle sweet family dog. He is looking for that good home to chill in, be a couch potato, go on nice walks and hike with..maybe even learn how to swim. Let's show James how wonderful a place Texas is. He is currently out here by Reunion Rescue in the midst of gorgeous Hill Country and Lake Travis - Colorado River. Come on over and take James out for a hike at the Greenbelt, our second best kept secret. James is our best kept secret. Ask about our foster to adopt program and lifetime holistic support. James loves it!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: none Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959   Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 9:48 pm

Story
Jack is a sweet, easygoing ~6 year older with so much love to give. He’s calm and low-maintenance, happy to settle into his own bed, and an excellent travel companion who’s logged plenty of miles with us on long road trips without any fuss. He’s food-motivated (a bone will make his whole day) and has a playful streak, especially when there’s a yard to explore and squirrels to chase. Jack does great with people and enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly smaller, female playmates. We’re moving abroad and heartbroken that we can’t bring him with us, we just want to find him a home where he’ll get all the love and attention he deserves.
