This pup is undergoing Parvo treatment through APA! and is expected to make a full recovery. They are not quite out of the woods yet and will need a few more days to complete treatment before leaving the Parvo ward; but that doesn’t mean they can’t start getting the word out that they need an adopter lined up for when they are ready to leave on 3/26! If you would be interested in learning more about me you can email Matchmaker@austinpetsalive.org or come to the shelter and ask to meet them. Please be aware that they absolutely cannot go home until 3/26, or until they test negative, but we will be taking 1-2 people’s information to be lined up for their adoption.

Miley was a stray found crossing an intersection. I got her when she was about 5 weeks old. Miley is very energetic and loving. She loves to be right by her owner, cuddles, playtime, toys, walks, and ice cubes. Miley is about a year old this February.

Grayson was born from an AKC bloodline June 7th, 2024. He's a good, loving dog but very high energy. With my job change I won't be able to take care of him anymore. He needs a loving home where he can be happy. He's up to date on shots and is neutered. Rehoming fee is $30, just enough to cover the listing fee on here.

i have a disabled dog that i can no longer care for, who do i give him to? i want him to go to a good home but either other dogs with disabilities, land/running dog (he loves to dig holes), or living with bo other dogs (he likes to play with cats and pretty much every animal), he's my sweet sweet boy abd i want him well looked after, he has been through so much and hes a happy, healthy boy :')

Colby is a 4-year-old Catahoula Leopard dog with a one-of-a-kind look and a big heart. Coming in at 80 lbs, this gentle giant loves to wade in the kiddie pools when out in the play yards. Colby has had good interactions with other dogs at the shelter and is potty trained. Colby is strong and can sometimes pull on leash when on walks. However, we know that with some consistency, Colby would master loose leash walking! He is currently in foster and loves snuggling on the couch.

Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve.
