Story
Shredder may have a fierce name, but this little guy is really just a goofy, lovable puppy who lives for playtime and attention. This Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pitbull mix boy is around four months old and full of personality. First things first, you should definitely watch their video: https://youtu.be/J-CijmQWwyA?si=ktlOgEK9YNi9Of5m It perfectly captures their playful, silly puppy energy. Shredder is very, very extremely playful and loves wrestling and tumbling around with his siblings. Their games can get pretty wild, and they actually play pretty rough with each other in that joyful puppy way. Because of that, they need to go with owners who will be good and ready to help guide them as they grow. Shredder is the kind of puppy who seems to wake up excited about life. Every toy is the best toy ever. Every room is a new place to explore. Every sibling is a potential wrestling partner. He’s playful, curious, and always ready for a good time, but he also has a very sweet side. He enjoys attention from people and will happily soak up pets when he’s taking a break from his busy puppy schedule. Shredder will do best in a home ready for an active, playful puppy and excited about helping him grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Stop scrolling… because Scarlet Mae is the kind of dog people don’t forget. From the moment you meet her, she has this way of making you feel like you’ve known her forever. Maybe it’s those adorable floppy doppie ears that bounce with every step, or the way she looks at you like you’re already her favorite person. Whatever it is, it works! Because Scarlet wins people over almost instantly. She’s affectionate, attentive, and completely people-oriented in the best way. The kind of dog who doesn’t just want to be near you, she wants to be with you. Whether she’s leaning in for hugs, soaking up pets, or gently asking for just a little more love, Scarlet has a way of turning even the simplest moments into something special. Watch her video and you'll fall in love with her: https://youtu.be/8oHuAjWX9_Q?si=tkwRq8s072a9_RWw Scarlet Mae is believed to be a Pointer/Lab mix approximately 4 years old and currently weighs 48 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue dog, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. One thing we do know is that this girl is so people oriented and attentive to you when you're with her, it’s probably one of our favorite things about Scarlet. All she wants to do is make you happy and put a smile on your face. If you watched her video, then you know exactly what we are talking about. Now just imagine what that feeling is like when she is actually with you! She is even good with kids, hanging out with a 12-year-old here at the rescue. She snuggled up next to him on the couch, asking for affection without being too pushy and was so content sitting next to him getting all the love and affection. We believe she would make a great family dog. Another thing we love about Scarlet is the way she will sit in your lap letting you give her the biggest full body hugs and when you stop… she’ll lean even closer to you. Almost like she's saying, “hey friend, just 5 more minutes please.” It’s very sweet. Scarlet is dog friendly and has done great with all of the dogs we have introduced her to. She loves to romp around in the yard with the other dogs, playing chase and exploring with her doggy friends. For the most part, Scarlet is either enjoying the sunshine and fresh air while the other pups around her are playing, off exploring, or getting loved on by her people. When Scarlet first meets a new doggy friend, she prefers slower introductions to get to know her new pal and will also give a subtle correction to a dog if she’s not up for play in that moment or if things are getting a little too rough. Like how an older sister would do with her little brother, a teaching moment. In a home, she will do best with a medium energy male that enjoys those relaxing moments together, will be up for a game of chase every now and then, and will also be mindful of her boundaries when she’s ready to relax. If you don’t have other dogs, that’s fine too! She does not need the company of another dog to help her feel comfortable and open up nor does she need another dog to fulfill her energy needs. She is a confident love bug all on her own and will be just as happy being the center of your attention. She also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if Scarlet has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Scarlet is also a smart girl and is a quick learner too. She already knows how to sit, is mastering her leash skills, and has shown us that she is crate trained and potty trained as well. She is very people oriented, eager to please, and loves a good tasty treat. All the fundamentals that make any additional training you want to do with her that much more enjoyable for you both. She really impressed us with how quickly she responded to every command we gave her. Scarlet has the type of energy that is perfectly in the middle. Not too high and not too low. She can match whatever energy you need her to. Want to snuggle all day? Sign Scarlet up. Want to take a walk around the neighborhood or go exploring the trails? Scarlet is already at the door with her leash on. She would also thrive in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs, soak in the sun, and porch sit with you during those nice summer evenings. We are willing to test Scarlet Mae with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Tigger, with his bright eyes, puppy energy, and affectionate nature, you’ve got a pup who’s as beautiful on the outside as he is sweet on the inside! Tigger is a social, loving boy who’s always ready to make friends, soak up attention, and bring joy wherever he goes! Watch his video here! https://youtu.be/hohA40FoOrg?feature=shared This 1 year-old pup has a coat as unique as his personality! We think this handsome boy is a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Australian Cattle Dog mix (no promises!) whose fur is a stunning swirl of black, white, and apricot—he looks like he’s both a blue heeler and a red heeler all at once. He is truly a beautiful boy! Tigger is a people-lover through and through—he knows no strangers! He’s the type of pup who melts right into belly rubs and rolls over when he gets excited. Still very much a puppy, he takes treats enthusiastically and has a playful side that shines when toys are around. What really makes him special is his affectionate personality! He’s eager to check in with his people, loves attention, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. For a young pup who hasn’t had much leash experience, Tigger picked it up impressively fast! He responds well to gentle corrections, looks to his handler for guidance, and is eager to please. He's already learning sit, and he walks in his crate like a pro. He’ll still need some polishing as he grows, but his willingness to learn makes him a dream to train! When it comes to other dogs, Tigger is submissive and respectful. It can take him a little while to feel fully comfortable, but once he warms up, he’ll happily run and play. If things get overwhelming, he defaults to rolling on his back in a sweet show of submission. He stayed brave, and he’s still growing into his full potential, so some hesitancy is normal! Because of this, he’d do best with a confident, gentle, and fair-playing dog sibling—or he could be perfectly happy as the star of the show in a one-dog home! Tigger is also cat tolerant. At first, he was curious and followed a cat around to sniff, but when the cat tried to play, he became more cautious and avoided interaction. With time and guidance, especially since he’s at a great age to learn, he could adapt well to living with a feline friend! Thanks to his sweet, people-friendly nature, Tigger could be a wonderful match for families with children. He may need a little help with manners, but his submissive and affectionate personality make him a safe, loving companion. He would love to go out on family outings, long adventures, or just cuddle up on the couch! He would be a fantastic addition to family life! Tigger would thrive in many different types of homes. Whether you live in a house with a yard or an apartment, he’ll be happy as long as he has people to love and play with. He’d especially enjoy a home with a medium-energy doggy sibling to romp around with. Since he’s such a social pup, he’ll shine on outings to parks, trails, or pet-friendly spots around town. At just a year old, Tigger has his whole life ahead of him. With continued positivity, patience, and training, he’s destined to grow into a well-mannered, loyal companion. He’s a sweet, social boy with a stunning coat, a big heart, and endless love to give—now he just needs a forever family to share it all with. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
