Hi, I am Daisy.  The vet says I may be a Weimaraner mix but I look like a graceful ballerina. I have long legs and a long body and I walk with a very graceful gate. I'm a 1.5 year old girl weighing about 38 pounds. I love to eat, and I am gaining weight after my time on the streets. I am a very sweet and friendly girl who will take all the love, hugs and kisses my humans can give me. I love other dogs and I like to play. I even stop when my grumpy old foster brother tells me he’s had enough play for the day. I am a curious dog, and like to explore my surroundings. My indoor expeditions are mellow. I like to walk around to take a look and sniff. I know a few commands and try to follow them the best I can, especially if treats are involved. I am house trained and sleep in my kennel. I do not like baths or nail clips, but I allow it because I get more hugs and kisses when I am sweet smelling. Overall, I am a sweet adorable girl just looking for my forever family.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Petfinder lists our pets as ''Out of Town'' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. Sweet baby Grey This little cutie is full of spunk and life. He loves to play with others and is a goofy little thing. His personality is silly and will keep you laughing. He would be up for a car ride, hike, simple walk or just being in your presence. He is good with other dogs, and children, Cats unknown as he has not been around any to our knowledge. If you are looking for a sweet guy and you want to keep a smile on your face, Grey would be a great addition to your family. Aby is ready to find her person or family to call her own. She's so excited going for walks and loves human interaction with her foster, seeking out hugs and cuddles. Aby loves sleeping on the bed and a warm blanket over her at night. Since arriving, Aby has been working to help her learn how to adjust to new places, people and and other animals. James Tsai of the Arf Arf Bark Bark Rescue Foundation says he has been "so delighted to have the honour of working with Miss Aby!" as a foster in his home. Aby is approximately 5 years old and 70 lbs. She has scars from her previous life of abusive breeding and starvation, her front teeth were pulled and her canines were ground down flat, so she couldn't defend herself from humans and male dogs. Aby has received a clean bill of health and a dental exam prior to entering the US. and will receive a final checkup with our vet prior to adoption. She is currently fully integrated with a family of dogs and going for long day and evening walks in the park where she is exposed to people, pets and wild animals. The best home for Aby would be a mature family or single person to give her all the love and attention she deserves. Dog intros will be required, but with her training, she has learned to accept other dogs. Aby has learned good leash behavior and easily accepts adjustment when needed. As a part of Aby' s adoption, her trainer will provide virtual or in person sessions to be included with her adoption to learn the techniques he has been using to help Aby with her fears. Pacific Rim Rescue will transport Aby anywhere in the United States via one of our board members - to the right adoptive home. Though, if there is a wonderful, kind and compassionate adopter or foster in Vancouver, Canada or Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, California or Nevada - even better! I'm a beautiful mix of Weimaraner/retriever/shepherd with a gorgeous gait & a gentle retriever's mouth. I had a rough start in life so when you first meet me, I am going to be shy. I might even hide under your couch for a few days, but once I get to know you, you'll discover that I am a clown! I love to throw toys in the air for myself to pounce upon. I am an expert at excavating the squeaker out of any plushy. I love other dogs and think that all puppies, including small kiddos are mine. Loves: snuggles, treats, walks, zoomies, digging small holes to help you with gardening projects Bad habits: Mom says I beg for food & paw at her too much for petting or food. Fears: loud banging noises Look deep into my amber eyes & tell me you don't love me already.
