PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION.. TOPSY is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas and the adoption fee includes her transportation with Mighty Mutt Shipping if interested there is an application on our website https:/www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ Little Topsy who was seen being thrown from a car. This created a case of fear biting. After decompressing for a week, we were able to get her spayed and her shots we then put her out in the puppy pen in the yard to introduce her to the other dogs After some initial fear growling and snapping at everyone,she decided they were all ok and had fun meeting and greeting The next day when i put her outside she decided she wanted out of the pen and to play with everyone ! and that’s what she does all day long .. run and play ! she is a little snippy with her treats and will steal everyone else’s if she can get them, she’s a very quick thief ..shes a little of an Alpha dog...but very sweet.. she looks like a backyard breeder dog that tried to breed Westies , she has a lot of similarities , even the way she walks ,she is approx 3 years old and 13 lbs and she is looking for her new home.. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS,WE SHIP OUR DOGS WITH MIGHTY MUTT SHIPPING TO THE NORTH EAST OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years. The total adoption fee of $600 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at

This resilient pup has quickly adapted to the good life, learning the ropes and embracing every moment. Murray's favorite pastime includes romping around in the backyard, exploring every nook and cranny with boundless energy. He's also started to master the art of potty training and is making great strides in understanding where to do his business. At night, Murray is the perfect snuggle buddy, happily sleeping through the night on his foster mom's bed. When it's time to unwind, Murray loves nothing more than finding a cozy spot on the couch. While he enjoys the company of humans, Murray would thrive as an only dog or with a furry companion who respects his space. Given his background, Murray can be a bit protective of his “slot in the couch” and may get cranky if he feels his spot is being threatened.
