Pico Steve found himself in a high kill shelter in a very crappy area. He would have made it out... but to whom? I'm so thrilled we were able to rescue him and get him the groom and skills to live in a home. Pico Steve is a very fun boy. He is high energy, so he would do best in a home that is active and will work with his busy brain. Dog enrichment and continued socialization needed. He will require continued grooming and training. Please don't apply if you can not provide the above Homelife. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. My brother Marley and I were surrendered by our original owners family because unfortunately our original family was deported i’m a very sweet hypoallergenic Wheaton terrier multi Pooh mix. I’m full grown and I’m about a year old and unfortunately, I was fed only wet food so I wasn’t given the proper diet growing up, but since coming to the rescue, I have enjoyed kibble as well as human food. I am amazing with other dogs. I’m very patient and loving and quiet, but I am in every sense of the word a Velcro dog. I don’t like being left alone for long periods of time. I do really great on walks and I did very good at all of my veterinary appointments. I didn’t even cry when I got my microchip. I would be the ideal dog for someone who knows how to maintain and care for my type of hair. My Previous Owners just threw me outside and didn’t groom me and I don’t know when the last time I had an actual bath was the rescue has done so much to take care of me and help with my rehab rehabilitation and I have graduated with flying colors and I’m ready to find a forever home with my own. Hercules is about 9 years old. He is housetrained, and will wait to be walked to use the restroom. He’s a friendly, chill dog who enjoys sunbathing and playing with toys. He attempts to play fetch, and is protective of his toys but will enjoy playing tug with them. He does well with other dogs, more small dogs than larger dogs, but he rough houses. Looking for a new home for him because I don’t have the capacity to be with him at all times. He has separation anxiety when he’s alone and will often bark or find creative ways to get out and look for you which is why I can no longer keep him. Looking for a home that has other dogs, or someone who can be with him. If you’re at home with him, he’ll mostly just lounge. Can have super high energy, but usually enjoys being in his bed and sleeping. He likes to follow you when you get up, that’s just his way of making sure you’re not leaving him. He’s a sweet dog, just needs a home that is more fitting to his needs.
