Story
Meet Lottie! She is a 4 year old whippet mix in need of a loving family! I got her about 8 months ago from the Denver Animal Shelter where she was a stray. She is very sweet and cuddly once she is comfortable with you (can take 5 minutes or a few days). She is looking for a home with a yard or an apartment with few dogs due to her anxiety around new dogs. Training her to react positively to other dogs is difficult in an environment where she is constantly exposed. She does great with another dog in the home, we have a golden retriever who she plays with and gives kisses but she gets scared around new dogs and strangers. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. She is house trained and knows a few tricks like sit, shake, and stay. She loves playing with toys and is very food-driven, making her easy to train with treats. She has stayed with many sitters who have said she is the best dog they have cared for. She makes you feel incredibly loved and is a great companion!
