Story
Milo is a senior whippet (mix?) with the sweetest personality. He just came into rescue so we are getting to know him and getting him some much needed vet care. He came into his foster home with a wagging tail and affectionate nature and was immediately friendly with everyone. This guy is as gentle as they come. He’s met kids and just wanted to give them hugs and he gets along great with his foster brothers and sister. Milo is older so he doesn’t have the same exercise needs as the youngsters, but enjoys a casual stroll around the neighborhood. He also really enjoys his naps! Milo is deaf so he sleeps soundly, but with his keen senses of smell and observation he doesn’t seem to miss when his foster mom is distributing treats :). Milo is easy to care for and easy to love. Milo will be available once he gets his neuter and dental but you can get your applications in now so you don’t miss out on this gem of a dog. ❤️

Story
Hi, I am an 20-lb., spunky and very sweet, girl! My friend, Janet, and I came out of a hoarding situation in Oklahoma where we were not socialized and were very traumatized. I have been making slow, but steady progress because my foster family has worked so hard to help me learn that I am safe, loved, wanted, cuddles and pets feel good, leash walks are fun, and even strangers and new noises are not terrifying. I love to explore and sniff the backyard, play with Janet, my foster brothers and toys are so much fun! Janet and I are hoping, hoping that there will be a special family to adopt both of us together as I draw strength from Janet since she is a little braver than me. My foster family wants there to be another confident sibling as well in a quiet home where the people and sibling(s) are around a lot help me to continue grow, because I am SO excited to be a dog now!

Story
Hi, I am 19 lbs, long-legged, and guessed to be a Basenji mix (maybe some Chihuahua) and a very sweet girl! My buddy, Jackie, and I came from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma, where we were not socialized and were very traumatized. I have been in my foster home for awhile. I have been making slow, but steady progress, because my foster family has worked so hard to help me learn that I am safe, loved, wanted, cuddles and pets feel good, leash walks are fun, and even strangers and new noises are not terrifying. I am doing a great job of learning to be a dog and I help Jackie be brave, too. I love to explore and sniff the backyard, play with Jackie, and my foster brothers and toys are the bestest! Jackie and I are hoping, hoping that there might be a special family to adopt both of us together. We're also hoping there will be another confident canine sibling, because we LOVE being part of a pack. A quiet home where the people and sibling(s) are around a lot would be wonderful! Finally, as I become comfortable in my new environment, I will be SO excited to show you how much I enjoy being a dog!
