Meet Lana! 🐾❤️* This gorgeous 10-year-old girl is a youthful spirit with a heart of gold! Despite her age, Lana's in excellent health and loves to play, run, and shower her humans with sloppy kisses. She's always up for a game of chase. Lana gets along with most dogs and is specially loving with puppies under a year old. She can get triggered by certain dogs, so a patient and experienced owner is a must. She's not super familiar with kiddos, but has been okay with respectful children - lots of adult supervision recommended. The ideal home for Lana is one with space to run, play, and explore! She thrives on strong leadership, structure, and lots of love. If you're up for the adventure, contact us to learn more about this sweet girl and schedule a meet-and-greet!

Story
James has been with us since 2016, so we do not take this decision lightly. She has had an increase in behavioral issues related to potty-training since we had a baby last summer. James has always had anxiety issues; she was a street dog in Thailand and brought over to Denver from a rescue that is no longer around. She shakes during car rides and hides from strangers, but she loves her humans. We call her a house cat because she acts more like a cat than a dog - she likes to be at home, snuggling on the couch. She has a big sister dog and cat who she gets along with great. We are rehoming due to the increase in frequency of accidents inside, and our inability to focus more energy and resources in training with a new baby.
