AN ACTIVE & ADORABLE PUP: Approx. 6-7 months old / Approx. 32 lbs. & growing Hi, I’m Zippy! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who take great care of me — they are so much fun hanging out with! I’m a busy young pup who is ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved! I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my cute Zippy spirit! I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site and learning a lot! Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and some of them reported that “he’s a lot!”, so some liked me and some would rather not play with me. If you have a dog that you think would like a playmate like me, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids, so let’s meet and best no toddlers or very young children that I may bump over with my enthusiasm. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m an active, playful, and happy puppy with lots of energy and a fun-loving spirit! I can be a little nervous when meeting new people or exploring new places at first, but once I settle in, my friendly and super sweet personality shines right through. I’m a very busy boy who loves to make the most of every fun moment! / Energy level: 5-7, though this may change as I grow up. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, and ‘drop it’ commands. I also know how to accept friendly strangers without jumping on them. I’m working on my leash manners now as I can get a bit overstimulated, mouthy and have nervous energy when walking on the sidewalk near traffic. Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / The crate is not my favorite place, but I’m working on it. / I’ve been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so I’ll need my new family to help finish potty training me. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m a playful, active boy who loves toys and having fun! I really enjoy spending time with the volunteers — whether we’re playing, hanging out, or sneaking in a few sweet hugs. I’m happiest when I’m sharing my happy puppy energy with the people around me. / New settings can make me a little nervous, so just give me a little time to get used to new things. Other than that, I can’t think of things I don’t like yet, though like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on my annual immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered.
