Wydner is an 8 month male Whippet/Lab mix, whose charming personality and irresistible smile are guaranteed to win you over. He may start off a little shy, but it doesn’t take long for his sweet, friendly spirit to shine through. Before you know it, all 30 pounds of him are wiggling with delight just to show you how happy he is to meet you. He loves spending time with people, whether that is playtime in the park, a walk through the neighborhood, or simply hanging out by your side. After the fun, this little boy is the type of dog who would be happiest curled up beside you and being your very best couch buddy. Go meet this precious pup soon, and bring home a wonderful companion who will fill your life with joy.   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Atha is an 8 month old female Whippet /Lab mix, and is a little bundle of joy all ready for her new home! She is fairly active, and likes to use up her energy by running in the park and chasing toys. After playtime, this sweet girl absolutely LOVES cuddle time! True to her breed mix, she is incredibly loving and a true sweetheart. At just 27 pounds, Atha is the perfect size to be your lap dog and constant companion. Sadly, Atha gets anxious in her cage because it’s right near the door, so she gets a lot of traffic and big dogs passing by all day … that’s a little scary for such a small pup! But just take her out to the park and Atha transforms into her true self - peppy, playful, and full of charm - all followed by the snuggliest affection. Story
Chip was abandoned and locked in a house for 2 weeks with no food or water and almost starved to death before we found him. We have him healthy again but have not taken him to the vet. He has been living with me for about a month now. He is house trained and extremely loving. I’m not sure what breed he is but we think he has some whippet and pit bull in him. He loves to play fetch and is very friendly and loves to snuggle. He does seem to have some separation anxiety and likes to chew stuff. He is a sweet boy but requires more time and attention than I am able to give. He would be the perfect companion for someone retired who has the time to spend with him.
