I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Meet Sophia…. Sophia is an adorable puppy, thought to be a Whippet – Black Lab Mix; she’s petite with a dainty bone structure vs the more solid bone structure of a Lab!! She’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At about 4 months, Sophia weighs 16 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of her adult weight, but our best guess is about 35-40 lbs. This cute pup joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. She is thought to have been born around November 24 2022. When joining our rescue program, Sophia appeared happy, playful, and must have sensed that she was “free!” and safe!! Sophia is very sociable, outgoing, playful, and is great with dogs, but can be annoying to older, more well mannered dogs; she would be far too energetic for a senior (dog or human!) An ideal family for Sophia is one able to assimilate the energy of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Sophia to be her best self! A fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family. Perhaps you’d consider adopting Sara along with Sophia…the girls are sisters!! Sophia is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. I came from a shelter where I was on the euthanasia list, but I got a second chance when I was transferred here. I’m really grateful to be safe now, and I’m ready to find a home of my own. I’m a Basenji mix and, if I may say so, a very sweet girl. I’ve really come out of my shell and now greet people with lots of tail wags right away! I get along well with other dogs and have done great with everyone I’ve met. I’m a spunky, playful girl who loves attention and interaction. I can get a little bouncy when I’m excited—I may jump and do some playful “love nips,” which is just my way of having fun and showing affection. Because of this, I’d do best with older, considerate kids who understand dog behavior and can help me keep learning good manners. I still have a gentle side and would do well in many different homes. I just need someone kind who will continue to guide me and give me the love I’ve been waiting for. I’m spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, 4dx test negative, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and microchipped—so I’m all ready to head home whenever you are. My adoption fee is $400. Meet Titus — the sweetest little shadow you could ask for! This boy is the definition of a velcro puppy. Wherever you are, that’s exactly where Titus wants to be. Doing chores? He’s your helper. Watching TV on the couch? He’s curled up beside you showering you with kisses. Bathroom trip? Yep… he’ll probably volunteer as your emotional support puppy there too. Titus is a happy, high-energy boy that loves zoomies and gets so excited he’ll bounce around on his back legs like a tiny kangaroo. He’s playful, goofy, and full of personality. Tell me..... have you ever found yourself lost, hurt and starving??? I mean, it happens to the best of us right? Yes, it happened to me!! :( It was really scary! I was hiding behind a "fireworks" sign on the access road, big TRUCKS on my right side and the railroad tracks on my left! It was "ruff" but not so much anymore ;) I mean, this chick showed up with FOOD and a CAR and a LEASH and COMPASSION..... and she SAAAAVVVEEDDDD ME!! NOW, I have food every day, clean water, protection from the traffic and the weather and LOTS of friends!! I am living the rescue life....pretty soon the rescue peeps told me i will be living the ADOPTED LIFE :) I am a ruggedly handsome boy with an incurable positivity!
