You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org ADOPTABLE MAPLE Would you like a personal jester? Do you have space on the couch for a cuddle ninja? Or does your pup drop hints they want a companion on the daily? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, Maple might be the solution. Maple is an eight month old string bean/sighthound/mystery mixed breed. She’s a hardcore snuggle bug and training enthusiast. She can be timid of unfamiliar people (mostly the lads and groups) and her training sessions are a major confidence boost while teaching her some very impressive manners! While she's playful and almost cheetah-fast, Maple is more about engagement and fun, interactive activities than high-intensity exercise. She enjoys exploring, chasing her dog friends, and is a fabulous yard work and errands buddy - she already knows to expect treats at Aroma Joe’s! If you appreciate goofball personalities, like being showered with affection, have a low traffic home, and experience and/or interest in learning about training and confidence building to help Maple live her best life, you might be looking at your next best friend! Maple is fully vetted, dog social, crates well, and may be able to live with other types of pets with slow introductions. She is being fostered in southern Maine for Pitter Pat Junction. Please email krista.rodrigues@gmail.com to learn more. Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 21, 2024, 4:01 am

I am a sweet and delicate little whippet mix. I have had a bit of a rough start to life as my sister, Baby Kai, and I found ourselves in an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. Lucky for us we have been rescued and are staying with a nice foster family. I am now on the hunt for a home of my own. Could that be with you? I am just adorable and excellent with other dogs. We guess that when fully grown I will be approximately 25-pounds or so. At my young age, I am in my prime for training and socialization too. I'm just here, wagging my tail, hoping to find a family who will love me as much as I'll love them. I can't wait to meet you! I promise to bring joy and unconditional love to your life. Will you be my new family? Submit an application today. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . Story
(Only available in Texas) Hola como estas? My name is Quintana! I was a sweet little pup found on the side of the road by my foster with my two siblings! Now I've been spending time playing and growing up here at God's Dogs Rescue! All my playmates and I have so much energy and want to spread all the fun around! Now I'm ready to jump into a family I can play with and love! Being of my breed group, I LOVE BEING ENERGETIC! Playing games like hide the bone, fetch and going on long walks! Because of this I would be better suited in a household with no cats and older children only. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Introducing Niabi, the spirited whirlwind of energy and love that's bound to fill your home with laughter and joy! This energetic Whippet mix is a true crackhead foster, always ready to embrace life with boundless enthusiasm. Niabi has mastered the art of kennel training and is well on her way to conquering the potty training challenge. With regular outings, she's quick to catch on and eager to please. High energy is her middle name, and she's more than ready to soak up all the love and attention you can offer. Personal space? That's a foreign concept to Niabi - she's all about being up close and personal! When she's not showering you with affection, you'll find Niabi in the backyard, where she transforms into a blur of motion, racing around with an unstoppable energy. She's also an avid water enthusiast, always up for a splashing good time with the water hose. Niabi gets along with her housemates, though she's known to give them the once-over to size them up. Supervision ensures everyone gets along swimmingly. On a leash, she's eager but pulls with exuberance, a behavior we're working on refining.Chew toys are a must in Niabi's world - she loves them durable and entertaining. And don't be surprised if she engages in solo playtime; she knows how to keep herself entertained. Niabi is versatile when it comes to her ideal home - whether you're her sole focus or you have a furry crew to keep her company, she's adaptable and ready to make your days brighter. If you're prepared for a whirlwind of affection, fun, and boundless energy, Niabi is eagerly awaiting her forever family. Embrace the journey with this vibrant and loving companion - your heart will be forever captivated by her unique charm.
