Sara is here all the way from Albania! She's learned a lot in a short amount of time. She understands English and comes when called. She's very affectionate and loves her people. Sara loves to run in the yard and chase the squirrels but has yet catch one. She also is a snuggler and will happily snooze by your side. She is the right amount of playful and calm. This girl will make a great companion! She is dog friendly crate trained (though not at all destructive on the house) and house trained.

A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, known for being intelligent, resilient, and incredibly loyal. Lola is a typical happy puppy who is curious about the world and eager to learn. She is smart and enjoys playtime, toys, and interacting with her people. Lola is currently working on crate training, leash training, and potty training and is making great progress with consistency and routine. She would do best in a home ready for normal puppy energy, continued training, and lots of positive reinforcement. Lola is sweet, engaging, and has that special spark that makes puppies so fun to be around. She is still young and learning, but with time and guidance, she will grow into a wonderful companion. Lola is being fostered in Parkville, MD. Meet and greets are required prior to adoption. While Lola is working on potty training, continued consistency and routine in a new home are important. Breed and adult size are not guaranteed.

Story
Ada was adopted in 12/2020 from a rescue shelter. She was estimated to be around 1 year at the time and had at least 1 litter of puppies by then. Her past has caused her to have some mild anxiety, but when familiar people are around, she's calm. She's a great companion for hikes and while she's good with other dogs, she does tend to bark at them while on walks. She's great with kids, but is generally timid around unfamiliar people. Highly food motivated, very trainable, and has good recall. She prefers to sleep in your bed, but is fine to sleep in her own bed as long as it's in the same room. Fenced-in yard is a must. She's licensed, up to date with her rabies shots, and has been routinely tested for heartworm. She hasn't had a routine dose of flea/tick/heartworm meds and she doesn't have several shots other than rabies and distemper. She's fed gently cooked food and we'll provide enough supply to transition her to another food if desired. We can provide a dog bed, leash, and collar.

I am a sweet and LOVING girl with some silly and quirky ways, I am happy and a little goofy too :) I have been with the rescue for several years waiting for my furever!! I love to give my best face! I have the cutest TOOTHY smile you will ever see. And I will share it with you all the time, if you let me! I am good with kids, and even play on the trampoline with them :) I am smart too! I have learned tricks and am house trained, crate trained, great on a leash and ready for my very last BIG adventure!!! I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

My Shadow follows me wherever I go!! That is a little disconcerting, however.... I move fast to see if he can keep up with me :) It is fun to try to outsmart him and it does help me wear me out :) I love me some playtime! Toys, ropes, tug of war time and running are keeping me active to fulfill my Whippet nature and my LAB nature too!! Looky at my face and tell me you don't want to share your WHOLE life with me :) I am waiting!!! Looking for a wonderful dog?? Great with all people big and small ;) And other playful dogs... Debbie-Decker Terrier/Rat TerrierTri-colored female, ~3 yr. (May 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Debbie came to rescue when her owner could no longer care for her. They said their life was too busy to have a dog and asked a Dog Trainer/Head of a Dog Prison Program to take Debbie in. She's been living as a foster dog with the Trainer for a couple weeks and has done very well with her large dogs. She's friendly, well behaved in the house. She's crate trained and a joy to have around. Said to be high energy, she'll make a great hiking of running partner. Debbie is about 35#, a nice medium size. This week she started the Training Program at the Prison and will be learning basic obedience and so much more! UPDATE from Rescue volunteers: We all adored this dog!! So friendly, out going and full of energy! Would be a great walking, running and hiking buddy so be ready to keep up! Debbie's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
