She is looking for a semi active dog experienced family with a securely fenced yard. She will enjoy having another dog companion in the home or will be fine as an only dog.. She is very loving and affectionate. She likes dogs, cats and kids over 6 yrs of age. She likes dog beds, walks and car rides. She is crate trained and house trained. . L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Hi, my name is Maddi and I am from Arkansas. From her foster: Maddi is calm and loves long naps, especially when she can burrow under blankets. When she’s ready to play, she shows her whippet side with quick bursts of energy. She gets along well with other dogs and currently enjoys the company of her canine friend, Rexi, playing on her own terms. Maddi is still working on housetraining and does well with potty pads. Leash skills are in progress, as sudden sounds and movements can be triggering for her. Her ideal home is quiet and patient, with people committed to positive training. With time and consistency, Maddi has all the potential to truly shine.

Hi! My name is Elvis, and I am from Georgia! I bet you are wondering how I ended up here, me too because my Foster Mom says I am the best boy ever! My name is Elvis, but my people call me wiggle butt, Elvie, buddy, and some time No No, especially when I have a people shoe in my mouth. I am a happy boy, I love to run the yard, play with stuffed toys, chew on a tasty bone, and cuddle on the couch. I sleep in my crate at night, and I am very patient to be let out and don't bark. I love to walk on my leash exploring the big outdoors. I am curious when I see people, dogs and cats but I don't chase or bark, I stay right by my people side. I have learned to sit for a treat, and we are working on other commands. Elvis is learning from our resident dog and would be great with a family with other dogs or being the only dog. House Training is going very well as he is a very smart boy.

I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

My Shadow follows me wherever I go!! That is a little disconcerting, however.... I move fast to see if he can keep up with me :) It is fun to try to outsmart him and it does help me wear me out :) I love me some playtime! Toys, ropes, tug of war time and running are keeping me active to fulfill my Whippet nature and my LAB nature too!! Looky at my face and tell me you don't want to share your WHOLE life with me :) I am waiting!!! Looking for a wonderful dog?? Great with all people big and small ;) And other playful dogs... No chickens please, lol, to me they just look like fast food :( Here he is!!!
