Story
Grace is around 8 months old female who is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She is a perfect medium size dog weighing around 30 pounds. She is an adorable pup with a cute underbite, and a sweet face. Grace acts shy initially but in no time wants to play with everyone she meets including all dogs. She is a smart pup who is learning to walk well on the leash and doing good on her house breaking training as well. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at nights without accidents. But given the opportunity would like to cuddle with you under a blanket. Sweet Grace was found as a tiny pup running scared and lost on a busy street of Mexico. Without food and protection from her mother Grace would not have survived much longer. Luckily, a Samaritan scooped her up and brought her to a shelter to save her live. Our rescue was contacted, and we flew Grace to the U.S. as sadly there was no chance of her being locally adopted in a crowded shelter in Mexico. Now all Grace needs is a loving forever home. She is just such a loving, playful and gentle pup who will make an excellent addition to your family. Grace is being fostered in Milltown, New Jersey. Please email us at Rescuewithoutborders@gmail.com for an adoption application.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. MYRTLE was saved from being shot on the streets of Oman by an amazing organization Muscat Dog Adoption. She along with her 7 friends were flown into JFK where they were cleared the CDC and then picked up and transported back to Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 5 April 2024 Myrtle is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 2 July 2022 and at the time of transport weighed around 30 pounds. Mixed breed dogs in Oman are referred to as Omani Wadi Dogs, with most of them being Saluki mixes. Myrtle is a sweet, gentle, affectionate girl who weighs just 30 pounds but do not let her slight frame fool you. When she is familiar in her surroundings, she is confident and loves to keep her fellow Omani kennel mates in check. She is very loving and takes treats very gently after she has checked it out for 10 minutes to be sure you are not trying to poison her lol. She is good with other dogs, but can be choosy who she wants to share with, not in an aggressive way at all but she knows who she wants to be friends. She is smart, loving affectionate and will need an active life and a family that understands the need of the sighthound and be able to provide the lifestyle that she needs and deserves. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue    YouTube channel    and    photo albums on our Facebook page   to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. Myrtle is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a reduced adoption fee of $550. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - As the dogs are in the kennels, we are not able to say how they are with cats. She along with her 7 friends were flown into JFK where they were cleared the CDC and then picked up and transported back to Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 5 April 2024 Bellatrix is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 7 February 2022 and at the time of transport weighed around 33 pounds. Mixed breed dogs in Oman are referred to as Omani Wadi Dogs, with most of them being Saluki mixes Bellatrix is a sweet, gentle, fragile girl, but one that takes no pushing around from the other dogs. She shares a kennel with Alma-Boy and Chip a young cattle dog pup and she keeps them in check. She likes to bark with the other dogs letting them know that she is in charge, she is adorable. She is gentle and sweet and although good with other dogs she can be a bit choosy of who she wants to share company with. Bellatrix is very affectionate and would be a great snuggle companion. Like the sighthound breeds, she is active, but it is more in burst of energy, she will definitely need someone who can give her that chance to run and burn off and to play with the dogs she wants to be friends with. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue   YouTube channel   and   photo albums on our Facebook page   to see a LOT of pictures and videos.
