Ri has had such a tough time finding the right home. She was originally a rescue from Puerto Rico. She is shy meeting new people but warms up and then is a velcro dog. She does well with other dogs and cats, and while she walks nice on a leash would love a fenced yard to run in. She is crate trained and housetrained. She would do best in a quieter home with older or no children.

Come meet Chispa! Chipsa is a 7 year old Whippet mix, who before coming to the shelter lived a life of neglect as an outdoor dog. Despite that, Chipsa has a heart overflowing with love for people, other dogs- not so much! While not outwardly reactive to other dogs out on walks, Chispa would need to be the only pet in the home. Chipsa has recently gone on trips out of the shelter to get a break and did well! She rode in the car like a champ, loved roaming around the park and took selfies (only on her good side). Hello! My name is Kolo, and I'm an energetic 4-year-old Indian pariah dog. I was rescued from the streets of India as a puppy and got adopted in New Jersey. Sadly, my family is not able to care for me any longer so I'm looking for a forever home where I can live rest of my life and share all my love. Here are some things you should know about me: Energetic and Active: I love daily long walks and need plenty of exercise to keep me happy and healthy. High Prey Drive: It's best to keep me in a fenced yard to ensure I don't get into any trouble chasing after small animals. So, I cannot be around small animals in the house. Smart and Trained: I know a variety of commands and am crate trained, so I'm already ahead of the game! Sensitive Soul: Due to my early life experiences, I'm very fearful of new people and other dogs. I do best as the only dog in the house. Great with Older Kids: I get along well with older children who can respect my boundaries and understand my needs. Needs a Strong Leader: I'm looking for a strong, experienced dog owner who can continue my training and help me build my confidence every day.
