Story
Ava is a sweet dog that loves attention. She is playful, loves to run and be around people. As far as her new home she would need someone who will pay attention to her. She is crate trained (though she is not fond about it) but when she is out she wants to be near you. She loves anything soft to lay on and if nothing is around she will find the nearest shirt on the floor and lay on that. She is a rescue from hurricane Michael and does not like to be let outside during rainstorms and if she is let out she goes out and finishes her business and will quickly return to the door. She love walks and cuddles and will lay on your lap or you feet any chance she gets. She also has a sister Luna (a black and white whippet mix) that will also need to be adopted. It is not a requirement but i did want to also put that information out there

Story
Luna is a good dog and super sweet when you get to know her. She get a bit nervous around new people but she is still as sweet as can be. She not aggressive at all she is good with other dogs, children and even cats. As far as her new home she would need some one who will be patient with her. Luna is a rescue and though it was never confirmed we believe the situation was not a good one, however she has come a very long way! She does take a little to warm up to you but when she does she will make herself comfortable right in between your legs if you allow it. She is crate trained, likes to go outside and play and go on walks but she will also be ok with finding a spot and relaxing near you. She also has a sister Ava (a tan whippet mix) that will also need to be adopted. It is not a requirement but i did want to also put that information out there.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Tina Fey - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My namesake is best known for her comedic timing and hysterical sense of humor!! Foster Mom says that i am the funniest dog that she has ever met!! I am outgoing and fun loving!! My favorite past times are going for walks, climbing trees, and sitting on foster Mom's lap for snuggles ( she laughs and tells me that I am not a lap dog...Hahaha..fooled her..yes I am a lap dog...just look where I am sitting...on her lap!!:) I am also extremely intelligent and pick up on "human speak" very quickly. I have a great vocabulary of understanding!! At 2 years young, I have reached my adult weight of 35 lbs of svelteness (I think I just invented a new word!!) I am trim and athletic and will do best in an active home where I can hike and play with my new human (s)!! Of course, it goes without saying, I am completely house trained and crate trained. I get along great with other dogs and have an innate understanding of "dog language"! I know when I can play with a dog and when I need to roll on my back and show submissiveness (this is a fake, as I am not really submissive, but know how to play the game in order to not rock the boat!) But, I am not at all alpha, either. I just want to be happy, play, and co exist. I walk well on the leash( although Foster Mom usually walks me off leash) and I know to come when called. I am the Court Jester of the ranch and always have a smile on my face. However, I am protective of the ranch as well and always bark to let my Foster Family know if someone arrives or comes into our space. I am not aggressive, just protective. My ancestry is from the "Survivor Dogs" of the Guatemalan Volcano,Pakaya. My ancestors had to be fleet of foot and clever in order to survive, and I certainly inherited those traits. If you have been looking for an intelligent comedian in a canine embodiment, I am your gal!!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Carl - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! I am with another rescue that is having a family emergency. If interested in adopting me, Hay Dude Rescue will pull me into their rescue to complete my adoption. I am Heartworm positive and have been started on treatment. Heartworm medication will be provided to my new family. Carl is a fun, young (2 years old?), little guy. (He weighs 20#) We didn't DNA him, but he makes us wonder if he is part Whippet because of his long legs and how much he loves doing zoomies! He also has many Jack Russell traits. He is quite a character. He loves to run and play, but if you want to have cuddle time, he is happy with that too. He'll even let you hold him on his back like a baby. He needs to go to an active family as well as one that is willing to set ground rules for his antics. Carl has been diagnosed with heartworm infection. Dogs acquire heartworm infections when they are bitten by a mosquito that was infected with heartworm larvae. He was given a Proheart 12 shot in April to start the "slow kill" method for destroying these worms. He will not need more heartworm prevention until October at which time we will test him to see if he is negative. Dogs with heartworm infection live happy, high-quality lives as long as they are given appropriate care. Heartworm infection is relatively common in the United States so we are in need of caring adopters like you that are willing to open their home to a dog with heartworm infection. We think that our heartworm dogs have just as much to offer their new adopters as any other dog and they deserve a chance at life. Adopters will receive all the necessary medications needed to complete the heartworm treatment protocol. Are you in search of a family addition that will be there by your side, a constant in your life thru all your daily going on's? A BFF to share your joys and sorrows? WAIT, stop scrolling, Carl is that fella!!!

Story
I rescued Molly last summer in a coastal city. She is so sweet, loyal to her person and very loving. She does still have energetic bursts- loves to run. I've potty and crate trained her. She gets along with some dogs but not all- she's territorial with dogs. I have had some turns in my health this year which have prompted me to move and the new location only allows 2 small dogs (I have 2 from deceased relatives that I can't part with). Molly would for great to someone / a family where she's the only dog. She loves running and playing with kids!!
