Story
Meet Ruffles and Pringle 🐾🐾 Ruffles and Pringle are two lively, high-energy sisters with big personalities, each looking for her own forever home. These fun-loving girls thrive in an active household and would do best with dog-savvy children ages 10 and up since they can be jumpy and mouthy. They are high energy pups who love to play, but they need slow, careful introductions to other dogs and are not good with cats. On leash, they can be jumpy and sometimes pull, so consistent training and guidance will help them shine. While they came in together, Ruffles and Pringle do not need to be adopted together, and each is ready to find a home where she can get the attention and care she deserves. With the right family, either girl will bring joy, laughter, and companionship for years to come. 🐶💛

Story
Kirby is a gorgeous 6 yo scruffy terrier mix, with the most beautiful amber eyes. He is a happy dog who loves to play with squeaky toys, take walks and relax on the couch with his favorite hoomans. He loves to dig for buried treasure and will let you dress him up in costumes for the different holidays. He is smart, walks great on a leash, is food motivated and eager to please. Kirby would make a great walking companion, but he's just as happy to lay at your feet, amuse himself with a toy or just relax until you are ready to take a break. Kirby is NOT a first time adopter dog. He needs a special and experienced adopter, preferably a female, who is patient and knowledgeable about scared, timid dogs. Kirby is nervous when meeting new people and will require multiple visits with a prospective adopter before being ready to go to a new home. However, once Kirby trusts you he is loving, affectionate and the best company. Kirby is a staff and volunteer favorite. One volunteer has called him the love of your life kind of dog. Kirby would prefer to be the only animal in the family, but we don't think that is too much to ask. He has so much love to give and will thrive in the right home! . Kirby is UTD on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted. Half of Kirby's adoption fee is sponsored by a Jelly Place's volunteer.

Story
Hello! I am looking for experienced adopter for an adorable dog. She was abandoned and had been running the streets for weeks before we were able to catch her. She is warming up to people and is now trusting them. She has shown no aggression at all, ever. She is learning how to walk on a leash but still needs more training with it. She does not go to the bathroom inside. We take her out multiple times a day on leash and she does her business then. I do not think she can roam free in a yard yet, as I think she may still try and run, because she is used to being a stray and running off. This is where the adopters will need to focus their efforts. This is the only behavioral "issue" I have seen. She has only barked at one large dog but does not bark at my dog or my cats. She seems uninterested in them or wants to play. She loves my son and is a huge cuddle bug. She will make the perfect family member for someone. She is the sweetest and just wants to be loved and give love back.

These pups are in Palo Alto, California too!

To be considered for adoption, pls submit an application in advance. Adoption Fee: $700 Meet Sol’s Solar System: Neptune & Mars Yes, they really are out of this world. Neptune and Mars are Schnauzer Terrier mix puppies born in rescue on 10/22/25. They are currently 10 weeks old and are expected to stay under 20 lbs when fully grown. These two brothers are the last remaining planets from Sol’s Solar System litter and are ready to find their forever homes. They have been raised in a busy, loving foster environment with dogs, cats, adults, and kids, which shows in their calm confidence and gentle nature. While they absolutely have playful puppy moments, both boys lean toward being affectionate, people focused, and easy to live with. Think cuddles first, zoomies second. CompatibilityDogs: YesCats: YesKids: Yes Neptune Neptune is the soulful one. He has deep, expressive eyes and two perfectly symmetrical spots on his back that look like little wings. From the start, Neptune has been thoughtful and observant. He studies people closely, makes eye contact, and seems genuinely interested in connection. He is a calm, loving puppy who thrives on affection. Neptune enjoys playtime and has puppy spurts of energy, especially when toys come out, but he is just as happy settling in for cuddles or quietly hanging out nearby. He has a gentle confidence and a forgiving, easygoing nature that makes him a wonderful companion. Neptune is the kind of puppy who bonds deeply and makes you feel chosen. Mars Mars may be smaller in size, but his heart is huge. With his solid black face and white chin, he has a soft, sweet expression that matches his personality. He started out as the shyest of the litter, preferring to watch before joining in, but his confidence has grown beautifully. Mars is calm, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle. He loves cuddling with people and other dogs and is especially content when he feels safe and included. When he does get playful, his puppy energy comes out in short, joyful bursts of tumbling, chasing, and goofy fun. He is adaptable, kind, and quietly charming. Mars would do especially well in a home looking for a loving, steady companion with a soft temperament. What They’re Like Day to Day Both Neptune and Mars are well socialized and comfortable with everyday household life. They enjoy playtime, toys, and exploration, followed by long naps and cuddle sessions. They have medium puppy energy and are not nonstop go go go. They are affectionate without being demanding and playful without being overwhelming. They are still puppies and will need continued training and guidance, but their temperaments suggest they will grow into gentle, loyal, easygoing adult dogs. About Mom: Sol Sol is the calm center of this entire universe. She came into rescue already pregnant and handled motherhood with patience, structure, and zero drama. She is about 15 lbs, scruffy, sweet, and quietly hilarious. Sol raised six puppies confidently and lovingly, then gracefully stepped back once they were ready. Because of her, Neptune and Mars are secure, social, and thriving. Sol has already found her forever home. She was that amazing! If you’re looking for a puppy who is loving, gentle, and emotionally tuned in, with just enough puppy sparkle to keep life fun, Neptune or Mars may be the missing planet in your universe.January 21, 2026, 2:39 pm
