Story
Meet Max Lee!🐾 Max is a one-year-old schnauzer/terrier mix weighing about 9 pounds, and he’s as sweet as they come! This little guy has never met a stranger — he’s friendly with everyone he meets and just wants to be your best friend. Max loves attention, cuddles, and playtime in equal measure. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful fur sibling to romp around with. Max is also great with children and would make a wonderful addition to any family. Mealtime is his favorite part of the day (he’ll make sure you know when it’s dinner time!), and he’s mostly potty trained. He does well using pads if one is left out — though fair warning, he also thinks they make great toys if they’re not stuck down! Speaking of toys, Max is a little dog with a big love for play. His new family should be “toy rich,” because he can really put them to the test! When it’s time to wind down, Max sleeps beautifully in his kennel without making a peep — as long as he knows his people are close by. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate, and playful pup who will fill your home with love and laughter, Max is your guy. 💛 Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 ( includes transport to your area)

These pups are in Alamo Heights, Texas too!

Story
The world can be a tough place, but these six survivors are proof that hope always wins. Our Fallout Litter, Lucy, Nora, Nuka Cola, Maximus, Arcade, and Codsworth were rescued just in time from a high-risk situation where they faced euthanasia. After weeks of dedicated nursing, round-the-clock care, and plenty of “Stimpaks” (okay, just high-quality puppy food and vitamins!), these Jack Russell Terrier / Retriever mixes are officially ready to leave the Vault and find their forever homes. When you mix the unwavering loyalty of a Retriever with the bright, spunky intelligence of a Jack Russell, you get a companion who is ready for any adventure. These pups are smart, energetic, and incredibly affectionate. They’ve been raised in a loving foster home, learning that humans are friends and that the best part of the day is playtime. Ready to Rebuild the World? Adopting a puppy is a long-term commitment to training, socialization, and unconditional love. These pups have been through a lot to get here, and we are looking for someone to take on the needs of these active, intelligent breeds. If that is you, don’t let these survivors stay in the Vault for long! Apply today to meet your new best friend!

Story
Boo WHO?! A Boo who would love to be with YOU! This sweet boy arrived at SNIPSA with an unknown history but we suspect somewhere along the way he had a spinal injury. He gets around like a champ greeting his fan club with a wagging tail. Boo is social, curious, and wants to join you on the sofa for long siestas. His favorite show is the Golden Girls and his favorite food is a sliver of steak. He does well with other dogs and is well behaved in the house. He isn’t loud or overbearing and is eager to find a pillow just to bed down wherever that may be. The downside is Boo suffers from mild urinary incontinence and his bladder needs to be manually expressed a few times a day. We know we have probably lost our audience at this point, but in reality it’s super easy. Just a little squeeze, he relaxes and the bladder is emptied. He is aware when the bladder is full and more than willing to help with the process. He can wear a belly band if needed for added confidence. With this aside, we know Boo will need that special person willing to step up for that special dog. Yet, we are confident there is a home for every dog so we were willing to take that chance. Please consider opening your heart and home to our scruffy little friend! He will definitely keep you smiling. Apply to adopt Boo today!
