Rusty came to us via the Salvation Army of New Braunfels.  He was homeless with his family, living day and night in a plastic kennel.  He was battling severe bacterial and yeast infections affecting his eyes, ears, skin, mouth nose and urinary tract. He also has a heart murmur that will require monitoring. however he is Heartworm Negative.   Rusty had no social skills when he first came here 4 months ago.  It took him months of steroids and antibiotice just to get healthy enough to be neutered.  He is starting to show his personalit.  He loves playing with the other dogs and has started coming to his people for affection.    He is 4 years old, 45lbs a little wire hair fox, a little Irish setter? We call him our red-headed stepchild!  He is coming into his own and will be a great et for the right family who has the patience to work with him.  He comes with FREE dog traning sessions! has bacterial and https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##2820605##

Story
Introducing the Belcher family of the dog world! Bob, the proud Border Terrier “Dad,” and Linda, the endearing Yorkshire Terrier/Wired-Haired Dachshund mix, hold the family together with love, patience, and a little cute chaos. The two of them share their Wire-haired Terrier puppies, Louise and Tina, each with a personality of their own. Louis, the tiny mastermind, has the attitude, the confidence, and, definitely, a plan. “This is my hat.” Tina is sweet, quirky, and wonderfully cuddly. Together, they are cute as can be! After coming into our program, these two received a necessary bath and flea/tick treatment. It’s hard to believe, but even at such a young age, they came to us infested with fleas. You might notice a few spots from their infestation that will soon heal. They may not run a burger restaurant, but they’ve definitely got a full menu of personality! So, order up (one or two pups)!

Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. **ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+.** Our app can be found at **haydudeequine.org** # ☕ Meet Latte! 🐾 **6 years old • 25 pounds • Professional Napper • Big-Eared Beauty** Hi, I’m **Latte!** And yes, I am just as sweet as my name suggests. ☕❤️ I’m a 6-year-old, 25-pound girl with ears so spectacularly large that I’m pretty sure they have their own weather system. I’ve been told they’re adorable, and honestly, I think everyone should spend a little more time appreciating them. Life changed pretty dramatically when my person passed away, so it took me a little while to figure out what was happening. These days, I’m doing just fine! I might take a few minutes to warm up when we first meet, but I’m not planning to make you work for it. Give me a little time, some kindness, and maybe a snack, and we’ll probably be friends before you know it. I **LOVE having other dogs around.** They make me happy, and I really enjoy canine company. I’d be perfectly okay as your one-and-only girl, but if you already have a friendly dog, I’d be thrilled to have a roommate. Basically, I’m happy either way—I just appreciate having someone around who understands the importance of a good nap. And speaking of naps… I am **not** what you would call an overachiever in the energy department. 😂 I enjoy my daily walks and love getting out to sniff and explore, but I’m not looking to train for a marathon. A nice stroll followed by some quality couch time? **Now THAT is my kind of cardio.** I’m a sweet, easygoing girl who would love a home where life is fairly calm and predictable. I’m happiest when I can hang out with my people, enjoy a leisurely walk, make friends with another dog, and then settle in for a good snooze. Think of me as the **latte of dogs**: warm, comforting, easy to love, and best enjoyed while relaxing on the couch. ☕🐶 I’m ready for a forever family who will appreciate my big ears, gentle personality, low-key lifestyle, and impressive ability to make myself comfortable absolutely anywhere. I’ve got plenty of love left to give, and I’m pretty sure my best chapter is still waiting to be written.

Meet Teddy! 🐾 Teddy is a 1-year-old, 40-pound scruffy Terrier mix (our best breed guess!) with a big personality and an even bigger love for adventure. This happy guy loves long walks, has plenty of energy, and is always ready to explore. He’s house trained, sleeps quietly in his crate all night, and is very food motivated, making him eager to learn. He’s working on his leash manners and his enthusiastic jumping, but he’s a confident, curious pup who wants to please. Teddy is friendly and interested in other dogs, cats, and squirrels without being reactive. He isn’t much of a toy guy, but he’d happily choose a walk or a tasty treat any day! If you’re looking for an active best friend with a scruffy face and an adventurous spirit, Teddy is ready to be your sidekick!

Story
Meet Quimby! 🐾❤️ Quimby is 2 years old, 12 pounds, and one adorable little wire-haired Terrier blend who was found running the streets. Now our question is… HOW DID THAT EVEN HAPPEN?! 😂 Seriously, Quimby. You weigh 12 pounds. You have little legs. You look like you should have been sitting on someone’s couch supervising the household—not out there trying to live the life of an outlaw! Thankfully, this tiny fugitive finally got scooped up, and you can almost see the relief on his face. Quimby is simply happy to be safe. Even being at the rescue seems pretty wonderful to him because there’s food, soft beds, kind hands and—most importantly—nobody expects him to figure out where dinner is coming from. Quimby is gentle, loving and incredibly sweet. He has that wonderful Terrier combination of scruffy hair, enormous personality and a face that looks like he may have several very important opinions. And then there are THOSE EYES. 😍 Those big brown eyes could probably get him out of a speeding ticket, an overdue library book AND whatever happened to the sandwich you left unattended. He’s scruffy. He’s sweet. He’s 12 pounds of precious. And his days of running the streets are officially OVER. Now Quimby is looking for the kind of adventure he deserves—the one that ends with a family, a couch and his very own spot in the bed. ❤️🐾 Quimby is ready to be somebody’s little everything.

Loki is a sweet 5 year old schnauser/terrier mix.  He's a little shy at first but warms up quick.  He loves to sit in your lap and be held.  He is good with kids, other dogs, probably cats too because he's pretty chill.  Nervous around new people.  will need a lot of love to start building his confidence.  He is potty and kennel trained, UTD on shots and neutered.  Please fill out an application for Loki here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##2794017##
