Story
Quarantine up July 16th, 2026 Meet Twinkie! ❤️ Twinkie is an adorable 10-pound Chihuahua with the sweetest personality you could ask for. She came to us from a shelter in deep South Texas with a severely injured eye that had to be removed, but that hasn’t slowed her down one bit. At around four years old, Twinkie is gentle, loving, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. She has a kind, easygoing nature, and I can truly see her fitting into just about any family—whether you have children, other dogs, or you’re simply looking for a loyal little companion. Twinkie is currently located in Hondo, Texas, but we do transport! Be sure to check the transport schedule on our website—we may already have a trip planned near you. Twinkie tested positive for Chagas but please do to let that scare you. She is doing great on treatment and the app cost is $30 per month for every 20 lbs of dog weight so not much at all. If you have a Costco near-by.... that's all you need. You can find out more about this on our website or copying and pasting the below links into your browser. If you’d like to see additional videos of sweet Twinkie, just let us know. We’d be happy to share more of this precious little girl with you. Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance. Whether you're adopting from us or anywhere in the southern states, please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease. It's endemic in the south. Story
Quarantine Up July 16th, 2026 Meet Barrett. This sweet little guy is one of the kindest dogs we have here. We estimate that he’s around five years old, though that’s just our best guess. He weighs only 13 pounds, and if you ask me, it’s 13 pounds of pure sugar. Barrett is incredibly gentle and gets along beautifully with other dogs. We did have to move him to a different playgroup because he was being picked on—he’s simply too sweet to stand up for himself. His favorite place is curled up in your lap, soaking up all the love and cuddles he can get. Somehow, this precious boy ended up in one of the most underfunded shelters in deep South Texas, but we’re so grateful he’s safe with us now. Barrett is the kind of dog who can fit into almost any loving home, and we know he’s going to make one very lucky family incredibly happy. Barrett is located just outside of San Antonio, Texas, but we do transport to many areas. Be sure to check our website to see if we have a transport scheduled near you. If you’d like to see additional videos of Barrett or watch how he interacts with other dogs, we’re always happy to share them. ❤️If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance. Quarantine Up Sept. 19th, 2026 Meet sweet little Pipsy! ❤️ She’s about two years old, weighs just 8½ pounds, and she is all sugar. This little girl is incredibly sweet, gets along with everyone, and would love nothing more than a home of her own. Pipsy can be a little bashful at first, but she warms up pretty quickly and then just wants to be in your lap. I can see her fitting beautifully into just about any family setting…whether you have children, other dogs, or a busy, social lifestyle. She’s just an easy little girl to love. If you’d like to see additional pictures or videos of sweet Pipsy, just let us know! ❤️🐾 ❤️If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance.
