Story
Dolores came to us from the Yuma shelter with cruddy skin (which has greatly improved) and also a corneal ulcer which is doing much better as well. This girl is a spicy little bean so needs someone experienced and willing to go at her pace. She has done well in foster home with people of all ages inside the family but is reactive to visitors at the home and due to resource guarding behavior might be better in a single owner home. Dolores is estimated as 6-7 years old and around 12 lbs. Dolores is crate trained, mostly housebroken with a dog door, friendly with all dogs and does pretty well on leash. She is a sweet loyal girl and bonds strongly with her caregiver but can be protective so needs someone willing to manage that behavior. She is a Xolo so will need upkeep of her skin. She is spayed, current on vaccines, had a small cyst removed and saw an eye specialist while in rescue.
