Unknown (1~5) Character: Bright, playful, cute, loving Vaccination up to date Foster Location: Ontario, Canada Diet info: Arcana Pacifico | Snack Paws Lamb Lung Treat Rescue Story Sweety's journey began in the most challenging circumstances, rescued from an overcrowded hoarding situation where she was one of 50 dogs vying for attention and care. Despite the hurdles she faced, Sweety's resilient spirit shone through. She contracted distemper, a tough battle to fight, but she emerged victorious, proving her strength and determination. However, the battle did leave its mark. Sweety's right eye sadly lost its vision, but that hasn't dimmed her zest for life. With her left eye, she sees the world with boundless curiosity and enthusiasm. Additionally, her teeth bear the scars of her past, with their enamel layer unable to grow, leaving them yellowed. Yet, Sweety's heart remains pure and loving, undeterred by physical imperfections. About Him/Her Since being rescued, Sweety has received the care and attention she deserves. She's been spayed and brought up to date on all her vaccinations, ensuring she's healthy and ready for her forever home. Despite her challenges, Sweety's spirit remains unbroken. She's a beacon of positivity, radiating affection and joy to everyone she meets. Sweetie exhibits an enchanting mix of behaviours and improvements since arriving in Canada; showcasing her unique personality, intelligence and highly adaptable nature. The day begins with a wake up call of a couple of barks - her puppy version of “cockadodado“. She then turns her full charm on you, eagerly greeting you, displaying excitement and a desire to play. Then it's off to breakfast, where she is a good eater, with a healthy appetizer of treats first. Sweetie successfully uses her pee pad without fear or hesitation, indicating progress in house training. Throughout the day, Sweetie explores her environment, yet frequently returns to her owner, displaying affection and quietly seeking attention. Sweetie exhibits perfect manners, refraining from begging for food and cozying up or sleeping during her foster mom’s business calls and webinars. She responds well to commands and is described as easygoing, patient and a quick learner. Her playful nature is highlighted by her enjoyment of hide and seek, although she ultimately prefers to be near you. Notably, Sweetie demonstrates self-cleaning behaviours reminiscent of a cat, further highlighting her unique traits. Ultimately, both your days conclude with a sense of fulfillment for the owner, witnessing Sweetie's progress and affectionate gestures. Sweety's playful energy knows no bounds, especially when she's around other dogs. She adores frolicking and engaging in canine companionship, making her an ideal playmate for another furry friend. But don't worry, humans aren't left out either – Sweety's affection knows no bounds, and she's quick to shower love on anyone who crosses her path. If you're looking for a companion whose love knows no bounds, whose spirit is indomitable, and whose joy is infectious, look no further than Sweety. She may have faced adversity, but her resilience and loving nature make her an extraordinary canine companion. Come meet Sweety today and witness the magic she brings into your life! Story
Meet our special pup, rescued from a dog hoarder's care and ready for a forever home! This sweetheart is a true people-lover—there's no such thing as a stranger when it comes to him. He adores cuddles and belly rubs and will happily charm anyone he meets. When it comes to other dogs, he's more of a lone wolf. He's all about the human connection and would rather spend his days cozying up with his favorite people. His energy level is just right—up for outdoor adventures but a calm companion indoors. He's a leash-walking pro and sticks close to his handler like glue. Now, he's working on overcoming a touch of separation anxiety. He gets a bit worried when his beloved humans are out of sight, but with patience and love, he's learning that everything will be okay. Crate training is part of his routine to help him feel safe and secure. Once he knows he's part of a loving family, this loyal pup's heart will truly blossom. If you're ready to give him the forever love he craves, submit your application today! This little lovebug can't wait to meet you.
