Meet Shania, our beautiful little comeback girl — and just like her country music namesake, she’s ready for a brand-new chapter filled with love, understanding, and the right environment to truly shine. Shania is a sweet JRT/Westie mix girl who is happy, lively and just 1-year, weighing just 12 pounds. Her look is a charming wiry coat paired with an absolutely darling personality. She enjoys leash walks, watching the world go by, and will happily investigate any squirrel bold enough to cross her path. She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and is friendly with men she meets out in public. Inside the home, however, Shania needs a very specific setup to feel safe and secure. Due to something in her past, she becomes protective if a man lives in the home and believes she must guard the woman she loves. Because of this, Shania needs a female-only household with no men living in the home. In the right environment, she relaxes, settles beautifully, and shows just how loving and joyful she truly is. She is currently working on potty training and does well using potty pads, and with continued consistency, she will keep improving. Shania is small, affectionate, and full of potential — she simply needs the right person who understands her and is willing to give her the peaceful, predictable home she deserves.  If you think you could be the perfect match for this special girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Coco Chanel is available for adoption. She is 4 years old and weighs 9.7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $700.00. My name is Coco Chanel. I came into the care of SAYR on Saturday November 8th from a caring family in NY that could know longer look after me. I am now staying with Lori & Mitch in NJ. Even though I have a lot of energy, being only 4 years and 7 months, I was on my best behavior in the car going to NJ. I was a little nervous the first day but I quickly got very comfortable. I'm still learning the ropes on a few things. I heard that I will be going for a check up at the Vet this coming Tuesday and I plan on greeting the doctor with a lot of barking - sometimes I just cannot help myself when I see someone, except for Mitch. I like to shadow him. I'll let you know how the doctors visit goes. Oh, and one other thing, I think someone bought me a gift. I'm not sure but it could be a winter coat with a CC symbol on it. Her training is paying off—she’s listening beautifully and soaking up every bit of love and praise that comes her way. This weekend she went on a little adventure to Yorkie Days, where she made new friends and wowed the crowd with her circus-dog antics. This girl can leap like a gazelle—we swear she can clear four feet in the air without breaking a sweat! At 20.4 pounds, DeeVine is the happiest, most curious soul you’ll ever meet. She loves everyone and everything, greets every day with a tail wag, and would make the best best friend anyone could ask for. When she’s not showing off her jumps, she’s busy hunting for her toys or playing a competitive round of tug-of-war. She’s also an angel on the grooming table—sweet, patient, and perfectly behaved. DeeVine’s joy is contagious, her heart is huge, and her spirit is pure sunshine. Whoever gets to call this girl their own is one lucky human.  Deevine is staying with Meghan in Ulysses, PA.
