Hi! His name is Dream. He was born in a liter of 6. He is 4 years old. We don’t exactly know what kind of dog his father is. We were told he is a Bichon Poo but based on vet visits we don’t think that is true. We are sure his mother is a Morkie, part Maltese part Yorkie. We are looking for an owner who has a bigger space for Dream to play and interact with others. He is a very fun, loving, energetic dog who needs an owner who can give him patience due to the fact that he is so energetic and is also willing to train him and show him tons of love!

Puddy ACCT-A-230513 is a 12-year-old male who came in as an owner surrender due to owner health on 1/6. Owner noted that he is “mean and old. He is high energy. Puddy is not good with strangers but is good with children, and with cats. He reacts fairly towards other dogs.” MEDICAL: Per staff on 1/7: “PC: Possible Dental Disease, skin issues and senior check EXAM T: 100.2F P: 140 bpm R: 30 brpm - BCS: 4/9 BEHAVIOR: QAR, nervous but compliant ORAL: Severe periodontal disease, missing several teeth, several of the remaining teeth are loose. Severe halitosis. Tongue hangs out of mouth. Very painful mouth. CV: Grade 1-2/6 L sided HM, NSR INTEG: Mild superficial dermatitis on caudal dorsum, matted fur on face/chin and ears. Dirty coat diffusely. UROGENITAL: Bilat descended testicles, soft and symmetrical RECTAL: NE ASSESSMENT -Severe periodontal disease -Heart murmur -Superficial dermatitis PLAN Treatments: -Clipped fur matting from face -Cleaned ears/ears -Admin Convenia 8 mg/kg SQ -Rx Gabapentin 10 mg/kg PO BID + Buprenex 0.02 mg/kg IM BID for oral pain -Offer soft food diet” Per staff on 1/6: “Weight: 6.9 lbs BCS: 4 - Lean Assessment - Cloudy eyes - Waxy ears - Dirty coat/skin, hair loss - Heavy tartar on teeth - BAR (bright, alert, responsive)” BEHAVIORAL: Per staff on 1/7: “I went to get a picture of Puddy and he was pretty calm, potentially nervous. He mostly faced away from me and it was difficult to get one of him. He moved slightly to the other side of the kennel once. I kind of poked my head & phone in to get one from the side, and he rolled over on his belly. He thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he can experience separation anxiety when left alone. With patience and consistency, he forms a deep bond and becomes a loyal little shadow. Stevie can be a bit overwhelmed by big city life and would need an adopter who understands this and is willing to go slow, offering reassurance as he builds confidence in new environments. A calmer home setting would be ideal for him. He gets along well with other dogs and is cat-friendly, making him a great fit for a pet-friendly household.
