MEET : TINKERBELL Age: 1 year  Weight: 7 lbs  Breed: Yorkie/Chihuahua Mix   Tinkerbell is a tiny and quiet girl who is ready to find her loving family! At just 1 year old and 7 pounds, this little Yorkie/Chihuahua mix may be small, but she has a big heart. Tinkerbell can be a bit insecure and may be fearful of new places and unfamiliar faces until she warms up to you. Tinkerbell is looking for a patient and understanding family that can provide her with the time and space to decompress in a new environment. She may "tinkle” a little when she’s nervous or excited, but this is only a temporary reaction as she adjusts to her new surroundings. A quieter home without young children is best to prevent any unnecessary anxiety.  Once Tinkerbell bonds with you, she will be a loyal friend for life! She is good with other dogs and cats, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. However, she does require a physically fenced yard as she may be a flight risk and is a bit fearful when on a leash. Tinkerbell will need regular grooming to keep her beautiful Yorkie-like fur looking its best. A little pampering will go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and cared for. This sweet girl has demonstrated a good understanding of house manners and is crate trained, making her an excellent candidate for any loving home. She enjoys curling up on the couch with her people or playing with squeeky toys at her leisure. Tinkerbell is looking for a dedicated family who can give her the love and patience she deserves to feel safe and secure.
