Hello world! I'm Stewart but my foster dad calls me fireball, hurricane, space cowboy, golden nugget, and rock star just as much. I may be little but my foster dad says I've got the love of 10 dogs 10x my size. He also says I've got the biggest heart and the courage to match. I can't speak to that, but I do try to pass it forward with kind, "hellos" or quick kisses that bring smiles and wags from everyone that I meet. It's just who I am. I'd be a great solo dog, or a member of a pack. I love everyone and could fill any role with ease. I haven't run across too many kids, but I've never come across anyone I haven't wanted to make my best friend so I'm guessing I'd love to have little ones around as well. Same goes for cats. My foster dad could see me curling up next to my new best friend for the cutest cuddle puddle ever (but that hasn't been tested in real life). People often comment on how well I move, since I only have 3 legs, but I don't like to make a big deal about that. I love to run with my foster brother and sister at the park just like any dog. I've learned how to climb stairs, jump on couches and beds, and wrestle with my sister just like everyone else. These might seem insurmountable or unbelievable but it's no biggie for me. My foster dad says it's a testament to my indomitable spirit, but I don't know what that means. Currently I go for a few short walks and a longer bark park trip daily and that seems to cure my zoomies. I'd say I'm about average for activity and adventure needs. My foster dad says I 'd be a great candidate to become a therapy dog because I'm a great cuddler and bring him inspiration daily. Note from foster dad: Stewart has been a real dream. I've loved fostering him. He's one of the kindest dogs I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He always has a smile on his face, is quick to play, or just sit in your lap and give you as many kisses as you can take. He loves belly rubs, is smart as a whip, is very athletic, and is treat motivated when training. His beautiful spirit has been a real joy that I'm sure will make your home complete. All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. Story
Dumpling is a sweet, energetic 9 year old. He is happy with everyone he meets. Dumpling is totally trained in the house and is eager to go for walks. Although he likes all small dogs with 4 close doggy friends, he has leash aggression toward larger dogs. We are currently working on that with some progress noted. Dumpling is doing well with my cat. He loves riding in the car. He can easily walk 2 miles with enthusiasm! He cannot see out of his right eye but it doesn’t impact on his abilities like jumping up on furniture or walking up and downstairs. At this time, he would benefit from a fenced yard or someone to walk him on a leash. He sleeps all night and does all his business outside. Dumpling has won the hearts of everyone who meets him.
